The connection to your hardware is now faster and far sturdier: scripts and big uploads no longer drop the link, Live seeds reliably on fast phones and iPhone, and the app runs lighter on battery and radio. Pair it with the latest firmware and Bluetooth transfers run up to twice as fast. FASTER, STURDIER CONNECTION (IMPROVED) - With the latest firmware, the link now runs on high-speed Bluetooth (2M) — snapshots, file browsing and script uploads move up to ~2× quicker. - Scripts and large file uploads no longer fail or knock the device offline partway through — big transfers now complete cleanly on every phone. - No more reconnect storms: background status and battery checks no longer fight the connection, so the link holds instead of dropping and retrying. - Lighter on battery and radio — one shared status check per device instead of several overlapping ones. SMOOTHER LIVE & WAR-DRIVE (FIXED) - Live now seeds reliably on fast phones and iPhone — no more getting stuck on "Waiting for snapshot…". - A stalled capture stream quietly recovers on its own instead of freezing the list. - Cleanly re-syncs after the device's capture buffer wraps, so the list never strands. POLISH (FIXED) - Pop-up sheets — templates, library, points of interest, node settings and the rest — now sit flush at the bottom on Android instead of floating mid-screen. - Fewer spurious "disconnected" blips during a normal reconnect.

ZeroTrace v1.5.0 (beta) The big one: meet AirLeak Pro — a dual-radio that captures Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at once. Pin places with Points of Interest, mute devices with a personal Blacklist, and resume a saved war-drive with Continue-drive. Plus custom themes, a Pro hardware-health cockpit, finer swarm control — and Bluetooth scanning that finally works on modern Android. ZeroTrace v1.3.0 (beta) The at-a-glance release: run a whole fleet of AirLeak nodes as one coordinated war-driving swarm with the new TraceNet tab — plus war-drives that now scale past half a million devices without a stutter, on-device encryption for your upload tokens, and steadier Bluetooth all around. TRACENET — YOUR MESH, ONE TAB (NEW) Run more than one AirLeak at once and manage the whole mesh from a single place. - A new TraceNet tab lists every node in your swarm — approve new ones, send commands, and watch each unit's status update live. - Name each node and give it its own scan profile, so every unit pulls its weight exactly how you want. - Live status on every node: real signal strength and a "last seen X ago" readout, plus an alert the moment a node goes stale or drops offline (no more nodes stuck showing "active" after they've gone dark). - Set your swarm channel from a dedicated mesh settings sheet. SWARM WAR-DRIVING (NEW) See your whole fleet's haul come together in real time. - A live Swarm panel on the Drive screen shows each node's contribution as you drive — open it any time, even before you hit Start. - De-duplicated device counts across the swarm — hub vs. swarm vs. total — so a device two nodes both hear is only counted once. - The panel rides along through the entire war-drive and survives the whole session without dropping its poll. HALF-MILLION-DEVICE DRIVES Marathon city drives no longer drag the app down. - War-drives now scale smoothly past 500,000 devices — the map, HUD, and counters stay responsive even in the densest areas, where the app used to stutter or freeze after a few minutes. - Saving, exporting (WiGLE CSV), replaying, and sharing a huge session are all faster and never block the map. - Session stats and the route heat-line stay snappy no matter how long you've been out. SECURITY & PRIVACY Your credentials and identity get tighter handling. - Upload tokens (WiGLE, WDGoWars, ZeroTrace) are now encrypted on-device in the Secure Enclave / Keystore, instead of plain app storage. - Licensed features are gated behind a proper check, and your hardware ID is handled with cleaner clipboard hygiene. FIXES AND POLISH - Your war-drive is never clobbered anymore. Returning to a drive in progress no longer overwrites it with an older snapshot, history saves are written one at a time so a quick End-then-Start can't corrupt them, and exported CSVs are cleaned up after sharing. - More reliable Bluetooth. Plugged connection, timer, and lifecycle leaks across Forget, the Troubleshoot scan, and connect/abort — so the app stays stable across long sessions and reconnects. - Offline means offline. Touchpad/keyboard (HID) input and the script executor are now disabled while a device is disconnected, instead of firing into the void. - Steadier capture. Exposure scoring no longer drops corporate/PII leaks, heartbeat liveness is honored, and the device dossier refreshes correctly. - Smoother Live list and Insights. The list only re-pins when the strongest device actually changes, and the exposure pass no longer does redundant work. - Byte-correct file transfers. Fixed chunk-boundary handling on file pulls, redacted sensitive paths from logs, and tidied the delete flow. - Smaller touches across persistence races, the recon toggle, the Forget confirmation, the About screen's offline state, and the splash/focus transitions.

HOME & LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS (NEW) Your war-drives now sit right on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, refreshing on their own. - Last Drive — your most recent war-drive at a glance: devices found, distance, and time. - Exposure — your last drive's 0-100 privacy-exposure score. - Lifetime Stats — everything ZeroTrace has ever scanned, in one tile. - Drive History — device counts from your last 7 war-drives. - Quick Launch — start a war-drive in one tap, straight from a Lock Screen complication. - Live Drive — the drive currently in progress, at a glance. - Comes in Home Screen sizes (small/medium) and Lock Screen styles (circular, rectangular, and inline), and every widget deep-links back into the app. LIVE ACTIVITY (NEW) Watch a war-drive unfold live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, without opening the app. - A Lock Screen banner shows the drive's live rate and momentum as you go. - The Dynamic Island gives you a compact pill while you drive and a fuller readout when you press in. - Branded with the ZeroTrace radar mark in the app's signal blue. - Starts automatically when a drive starts, updates as you collect, and tap it any time to jump back in. AUTO-WARDRIVE (NEW) One less thing to remember before you set off. - Hitting Start now automatically switches the device into war-drive mode. - When you End the session, it restores whatever mode you were in before. LIVE DISCOVERY RATE (NEW) A live sense of how target-rich the area around you is. - The drive HUD now shows devices found per minute (/MIN), updating as you move, in place of the old plain "new" counter. ZEROTRACE CLOUD (NEW) Send your war-drives to your own ZeroTrace account and see your numbers in-app. - Upload any drive's WiGLE CSV straight to secure.zerotrace.pw — paste your API token once (opt-in, stored only on your device) and you're set. - A new ZeroTrace tab on the Stats page shows your cloud totals: networks discovered, the Wi-Fi vs BLE split, new this week, and an encryption breakdown. - The full map, community map, and leaderboard live on the ZeroTrace web dashboard; the app keeps a lean glance so it doesn't duplicate the site. EXPORTS - WiGLE, WDGoWars, and ZeroTrace CSV exports now identify the scanner as "ZeroTrace AirLeak" (both model and device), instead of the bare app name. FIXES AND POLISH - Live Activity now disappears the moment a drive ends. It previously lingered on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island for hours — or stayed forever if you force-quit the app. Ending a drive now clears every instance immediately, and a launch sweep removes any strays left over from a force-quit (without ever killing an active drive's card). - Widgets that came up empty now populate reliably — each widget is isolated, so one bad refresh can't starve the others. - Lock Screen widget legends and chart numbers no longer render broken. - The Lifetime widget header no longer runs off the edge, and the Drive History bars no longer balloon into blocks. - Trimmed widget over-padding and text truncation.

ZeroTrace v1.1.0 (beta) The war-driving release: background recording, shareable route cards, sessions that scale to marathon drives, and a big pile of reliability and performance work. BACKGROUND WAR-DRIVING (NEW) Your drive no longer stops when you leave the app. Turn on the new Background toggle, hit Start, then lock your phone or switch apps, and GPS plus device capture keep running. - Opt-in via the new Moon toggle on the Drive screen. - A notification shows it is recording, and clears cleanly when you stop or End the session. - Coming back to the app instantly refreshes the map and counts with everything collected while you were away. - Needs the "Allow all the time" location grant (on Android 11 and up that is set in Settings, and the app walks you there). SHARE CARDS (NEW) Turn any war-drive into a polished shareable card. - 6 layouts: Classic, Map (route over a stylised dark street map), Stats (big stacked numbers), Heat (device-density map with a hottest-zone marker), Noir (monochrome minimal), and Recon (a detailed intel report). - Export as a still image or an animated GIF flyby: the route draws itself in and the counters count up. - 3 colour themes (Heat / Noir / Pulse) that work with every layout. - Smooth continuous-gradient route lines. - The Recon card adds real recon detail: tracker count, high-risk devices, the share of randomised (private) MACs, top vendors, and peak device density per km. STATS AND UPLOADS - The account Stats page now uses tabs (WiGLE / WDGoWars) instead of stacking every platform in one long scroll. - Fixed WiGLE uploads. The top cause of failures was a silent 401 from pasting the wrong key. It now accepts either WiGLE's "Encoded for use" string or your plain "API Name:API Token" and encodes it for you. Exports also use WiGLE's canonical BLE format. MARATHON SESSIONS - Sessions now scale to roughly 500,000 devices and 30-hour-plus drives. - When a session hits the cap it auto-saves that segment to Drive History and starts a fresh one, so a huge drive is never lost and it no longer drops your weakest signals. - Session saves are chunked and non-blocking, so long drives do not hitch. PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY - Fixed a stall that could freeze Live and Hunt mid-session (a device-sequence wrap-around wedged the update stream). - New devices pin to the top of the Live list, smoother map panning, and lower memory on very large sessions. - Multiple stability, state, and security hardening passes. PRIVACY - Android no longer asks for photo-library read access. Saving cards and GIFs to your gallery is add-only. Heads-up: Background recording is opt-in and uses more battery (continuous GPS and BLE with the screen off) and shows a notification while active. Nothing changes if you leave it off.
