Next Step is an AI coach for the moments you're stuck on something that actually matters — and can't make yourself start. It doesn't give you a to-do list or a pep talk. You say what's in your way, in your own words, and it gives you one concrete next step small enough that you'll actually do it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Drop — tell it what's stuck, by typing or voice. 2. Move — it hands you a single, specific next step tuned to why you're stuck. 3. Commit — say you're going, or tap "didn't land" and it tries a different angle. That's one cycle. Most take a minute or two. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT - One step, not twenty. The whole point is to break the "I have to do everything" wall, so you get the smallest move that creates momentum — never a backlog. - It adapts to how you're stuck. Avoidance, a fuzzy goal, a decision you can't make, a blank page — each gets a different approach, not the same generic advice. - It remembers context. A lightweight memory layer keeps track of what you're working on so each step builds on the last, without you re-explaining. - Talk or type. Record a voice note when typing is too much friction — it transcribes and you review before sending. - Quiet by design. No feed, no streaks, no notifications nagging you.
