What’s New Version 2.8
Hey, second-in-command here.
Someone dropped a wish in the confession box: "I always forget to log it, and by the time I remember, the timing's way off." So I unlocked two new skills—for him, and for you.
* Backfill is live: forgot to log it? Just pick a time you remember and clock in late. That session won't vanish from your history anymore.
* You can edit a record's time now: tapped the wrong time, or logged it way too late? One tap to fix it—and for timed ones, you can tweak the duration too.
Wish received. Keep logging—don't let another one mysteriously disappear.
Description
[Habit Log] — A habit tracker that turns daily check-ins into a leveling-up game. One-tap logging of frequency and duration, a Lv.1-99 achievement system, and global arenas to compete with players worldwide.
■ Why Habit Log?
- Lightning-fast logging: Open → tap → logged. Done in 3 seconds. Quick mode and timer mode supported, with a live timer on your Lock Screen.
- Leveling achievement system: Lv.1-99 curve, EXP points (formula: 10 + level × 2), 12 rank tiers, and 43 achievements across milestone / special / hidden categories.
- Global Leaderboard: Opt in to battle every challenger out there for ranking. Top 3 get crowned with a victory aura. You only show your name — never your records.
- Community arenas: Pick a side in Team Battle and watch the daily winner, or step into the Tribunal to rule on real-life cases. A battle of counts, and of instinct.
- Offline by default, privacy-first: Face ID / Touch ID lock, decoy screen, on-device storage for your logs.
■ Main Features
- Home: Monthly summary, today's summary, big one-tap log button, timer mode, Saint Mode cooldown (adjustable duration).
- History: Grouped by date, swipe to delete, time and duration per entry.
- Stats: Total count, average duration, monthly count, longest streak — across 4 chart types.
- Body Insights: A circadian-rhythm radar and educational cards citing reputable health organizations. See your own rhythm (informational only — not a diagnosis).
- Achievements: 12 milestone, 21 special, 10 hidden — each unlocks EXP.
- Levels & Ranks: 12-tier rank progression from beginner to master.
- Global Leaderboard: Terminal-style STATUS panel, HUD targeting buttons, five-layer champion aura animation. Fully opt-in, off by default.
- Community: Team Battle settles a winner daily with 7-day records and one-tap battle reports — defect whenever you like; the Tribunal serves one case a day to build your hit rate and streak.
- Settings: Privacy lock, decoy screen, iCloud backup, CSV export, 6 languages, light / dark / auto.
■ Privacy & Data
- All log data (entry details, timestamps, frequency, duration) stays on your device and in your personal iCloud backup — never shared with other users.
- Global Leaderboard and community arenas are opt-in and off by default. When enabled, only your challenger name, level, title, cumulative EXP, and your faction / votes are synced for ranking and battles; turning them off deletes your cloud record immediately.
- iCloud backup can be toggled anytime and syncs only to your personal iCloud account.
- Optional Face ID / Touch ID or 4-digit passcode lock.
- CSV export — your data goes with you.

Build 887365700v2.72026-06-24 17:03:53
Hey, it's the second-in-command.
Dug a brand-new rabbit hole this time: every log can now carry a little code only you understand—collect them into your own personal codex.
* The Codex is here: tuck a little code into each log and watch the grid fill up, square by square. Collectors, I see you.
* Tag it on the spot: drop a code right after you log, or reuse your last one in a tap—no more digging around.
* Year-in-review + collector personality: find out what kind of collector you are, turned into a card you can flaunt (don't worry, it's masked).
* Your three little home buttons can move now: drag the fortune tube, the daily note, and the codex wherever you like. You're the boss.
The grid's waiting. Keep collecting.
Build 887254093v2.62026-06-21 23:54:47
Hey, second-in-command here.
This time I laid out a whole table of "numbers you'd rather not add up" — equal parts curious and covering-your-eyes.
* Lifetime countdown: based on your age, a rough guess at how many you've got left. The second you see the number, you'll know that intrigued-and-terrified feeling. (Just for fun — don't take it to heart.)
* Monthly recap: a little wrapped-up report each month — your wildest week, your longest dry spell, all in one glance. Shareable, too.
* Peer comparison: see roughly where you land next to others your age. Relax — it shows a range, never a roast.
* Streak curve + prowl radar: trying to hold out? There's a line climbing with you — the longer you go, the more it hurts to reset. It also quietly notes your busiest hours. No nagging, no judging.
* Today's note: a little wooden charm now sways in the top-left, a twin to the fortune tube on the right. Tap it daily for a line meant just for you.
Numbers don't lie — but this one's happy to laugh with you.
Build 887121413v2.52026-06-18 17:58:59
Hey, second-in-command here.
New dungeon unlocked—the Daily Fortune. Drop by the shrine each day (okay, the app) and see how your luck's running.
* Shake out today's fortune: pick up your phone and give it a shake—rattle rattle—and out pops a fortune stick. Too lazy to shake? A tap works too. I'm not picky.
* Different every single day: from "Peak Sage" to "Total Misfire," each draw comes with today's do's, don'ts, and a little luck tip. Press your advantage or keep both hands in your pockets—the fortune's already decided for you.
* Big pulls get the fanfare: land one of the two rarest fortunes and the screen flashes and showers confetti. Didn't get it? Come back tomorrow—you can draw every day.
Today's outlook: lucky to draw, unlucky to be a skeptic.
Build 886963058v2.32026-06-16 06:21:47
Hey, second-in-command here.
I just opened a new map — "Fap News," tucked inside the new "Studs" tab.
* The global battle feed is live: who just fired and how hard scrolls past in real time, like a kill feed in your favorite game.
* Today's top studs: every shot earns "firepower" — midnight raids and marathons score extra. See if you can crack today's MVP.
* Anonymous, your call: join the fight and you show up under a codename; don't want the spotlight? Lurk and just watch. No one knows it's you.
Fire clean. Make the board.
Build 887046568v2.42026-06-16 19:48:39
Hey, second-in-command here.
This round is all about the Confession Room. I dragged out a bug that was playing dead, and unlocked a new skill while I was at it.
* The like count stopped faking it: you'd tap the heart, it'd blush red but stubbornly refuse to add +1—and sneak back to zero when you switched screens. I had a word with it. Now it counts what you actually tap.
* Replies are open in the Confession Room: you used to just silently tap a heart on someone's confession. Now you can talk back. Open a comment to unfold the whole thread—comfort them or pile on, your call.
* Replies can be liked, reported, and blocked too: same treatment as the confessor. Anyone out of line still gets shown the door.
Confessing isn't lonely anymore—someone will reply now (even if it's just to roast you).
Build 886941572v2.22026-06-14 20:31:31
Hey, it's your second-in-command.
The community just got a forbidden room — the Saint's Confession Booth. That sage moment right after? It finally has a shrine.
* New zone "Saint's Confession": the sin you just committed — step in and confess, anonymously. Read everyone's post-nut wisdom, like the legendary ones, and realize we're all the same.
* "Sage Mode" pops up after you finish: that crystal-clear, genius-level moment — I built a card to catch it, one tap to drop your revelation in the booth.
* The booth wears purple now: tells itself apart from Battle and Tribunal at a glance. Vibe locked in.
* Rebuilt the report & block buttons: the old menu looked like a system settings page. I sent it for a haircut — much easier on the eyes now. Troublesome comments? One tap, gone.
Forgive me, Father, for I have shipped another update.
Build 886911193v2.12026-06-13 18:11:41
Hey, it's your second-in-command.
No bugs to squash this time — I just got the itch and gave the Settings page a full renovation.
* Settings moved into proper dorms: every switch used to live alone in its own room, scattered all over. Now they're grouped by personality — the fun ones bunk in "Playstyle", the cloud lovers in "Cloud Link". Everything's one glance away.
* New signage everywhere: every section header got a tactical redesign. Opening Settings now feels like opening a game menu. One word: slick.
* Info cards, rebuilt: that little ⓘ now stands right next to each feature. Tap it and a shiny new tech-style card pops up — read, hit GOT IT, done.
Settings got a glow-up. Go take a stroll.
Build 886861579v2.02026-06-12 18:51:09
Hey, it's your second-in-command.
I built a courthouse. And yes, I appointed myself judge.
* New map "The Tribunal" is open: every week the court hears one impossible case (like "the morning one — does it count for today or yesterday?"). Cast your stance, then bet on where the world's majority stands. Guess right, collect rewards — the longer your streak, the louder the bragging.
* The judge presides in person: Judge Second-in-Command opens every session and bangs the gavel on verdict day. No one sees the votes before the case closes — come back Monday to hear the ruling.
* New badges to collect: First Hearing, Oracle, the All-Seeing Eye… and one that's only awarded to a certain kind of juror. The court declines to elaborate.
* Share posters got dressed up: battle reports and verdicts now carry the app's face, our website, and a little square code that takes scanners straight to the download page. Also fixed the "first tap on share hands you a blank page" hiccup — it used to get stage fright. Not anymore.
Order in the court. Which side are you on?
Build 886819137v1.92026-06-11 20:38:34
Hey, it's your second-in-command.
We just opened a new map: the whole world splits into two teams, and you have to pick a side.
* New arena "Team Battle": Team Resist vs Team Release. Join one and see which side rules the world today. Backed the wrong boss? You can defect — but traitors can't make it a daily habit.
* Winners get the spoils: the battle settles itself every midnight, and if your side wins, a reward is waiting next time you drop by. New badges too — one of them is hidden, and only the guilty can earn it.
* Share your battle report: turn today's standings into a slick poster and ask your friends, "Which side are you on?"
* Some furniture got moved: History now lives with Statistics, and the Leaderboard got its own room back. Everything's easier to find.
Pick a side, soldier. Fence-sitting is also a lifestyle.
Build 886785945v1.82026-06-10 20:54:24
Hey, it's your second-in-command.
Two things you've been asking for, plus one very sneaky bug.
* Saint Mode, your rules: some of you said the break felt like detention. Head to Settings and make it as short (or long) as you like — the dial is satisfyingly clicky.
* Your spot on the leaderboard is back: after the last update, some of you couldn't find your own row and had to toggle the board off and on. It now walks back to its seat on its own.
* Fixed the door that wouldn't open: the app would occasionally greet you with a dark screen, then walk off the job. Turns out two guys were fighting in the doorway. I pulled them apart — smooth entry now.
Shorter breaks? Allowed. Slacking off? Not so much.
Build 886567262v1.72026-06-07 21:04:38
Hey, second-in-command here.
Big one this time: your logs will never just "poof, gone" again.
* Your data finds its way back: delete the app by accident before and your hard-earned logs went down with it. Now there's a backup twin waiting in the cloud—switch phones or reinstall, sign in to the same iCloud, and your logs walk right back in. Not your thing? Flip it off in Settings and everything stays on your phone.
* No more clones on the leaderboard: every reinstall used to spawn another "you" on the board, like you were racing yourself. I sent all the clones home and kept only the highest-level, best-looking one.
* The fine print hides in a little circle: those explainer blurbs in Settings now tuck into the ⓘ next to each one—tap if you're curious, clean if you're not.
Your logs have a safety net now. Go climb.
Build 886221437v1.62026-05-28 16:57:09
Hey, second-in-command here.
Had a serious talk with the timer this update.
* The timer stopped sneaking off the clock: Used to be — you'd switch to another app, come back, and the timer had quietly clocked out and vanished. I locked its schedule in. App killed, phone rebooted — it'll still be there waiting when you get back.
* Lock Screen & Dynamic Island are on watch: Once you start timing, you can close the app. A little sentry on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island keeps an eye on the seconds for you — one lazy glance is all it takes.
* Sentry can stand down if you want: It's on by default. If you'd rather keep it out of sight, Settings → Timer Mode — tap once, it steps aside.
What gets logged, gets counted. Down to the second.
Build 885841459v1.52026-05-22 13:33:08
Hey, second-in-command here.
Squashed an annoying old bug, and taught Timer Mode a couple of new tricks.
* Your timer won't "vanish" anymore: You'd start a timer, switch to another app, come back — and it was gone, because iOS quietly killed the app. Now the timer state is locked in. App killed, phone rebooted — it keeps counting when you return.
* Live on Lock Screen & Dynamic Island: Once you start timing, no need to keep the app open. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island track the seconds for you — just glance to see how long it's been.
* Don't want it shown? Toggle it off: On by default, but if you'd rather keep it private, head to Settings → Timer Mode and switch it off.
Logged it — this time we kept the clock for you too.
Build 885775226v1.42026-05-18 14:08:09
Hey, second-in-command here.
This round I quietly set up a mini lab inside the app. Not for the doctor — for you.
* Unlocked the new "Insights" tab: Tap into the second segment on the Stats page, and seven cards take over — Circadian Radar, Week Heatmap, 5-Min Club, Personal Cadence, Pre-Sleep, Refractory Lab, and Streak Mirror. Each has its own personality.
* Cited by real authorities: ISSM, Mayo Clinic, WHO ICD-11 — I dragged them all to the table. Every card has a "Sources" button you can pop open. None of it's made up.
* One red line held: These are observations, not diagnoses. No "too much" or "abnormal" words — your rhythm has no right or wrong.
Logged it. Now let science chime in too.
Build 885705097v1.32026-05-15 16:01:26
Hey, second-in-command here.
Caught two slacker bugs this round, and gave the leaderboard a little tune-up while I was at it.
* Honest ranks are back: Some players had their global rank "fibbing" a bit — it just looked off. I dragged that bug out and gave it a stern talking-to. Your rank now tells you the truth, full stop.
* The update alert finally shows up to work: It used to nap right through new releases and forget to knock on your door. I poked it awake. It'll knock on time from now on.
* Leaderboard opens faster: A few things now happen at the same time instead of one-by-one. Less waiting, more climbing.
Bugs swept. Time to climb.
Build 885597117v1.22026-05-13 17:30:55
Hey, it's your dev (the second-in-command).
We just dropped a map you've been waiting for — the Global Leaderboard. The worldwide arena is open.
* Worldwide arena unlocked: Battle every challenger out there for ranking. The top 3 get crowned with a victory aura. You only show your name — never your records.
* Privacy stays locked: Fully opt-in, off by default. We only sync your challenger name, level, and title — your logs never leave your device.
* Visual glow-up: Terminal-style STATUS panel, HUD targeting buttons, and a five-layer champion aura animation. Leveling up just got more satisfying.
* Saint Mode cooldown activated: One log, then 30 minutes before the next one counts. Countdown badge lives right under the button — quick mode and timer mode both apply. No exploits. Fair ranks only.
Logged it? Now climb the ranks. Can you wait 30 minutes?
Build 885406891v1.12026-05-08 14:08:30
Hey, it's your dev (the second-in-command).
Unlocked a small new piece of gear and fixed a door that wouldn't open.
* Name your challenger: Head to Settings → General to set a custom name that shows on your achievement screen. Make your record truly yours.
* Rate us button is fixed: Tapping it now actually takes you to the App Store review page. Sorry it took this long.
Name set. Keep logging.
