Communication Update We've made messaging, forms, and notices clearer and easier to use. Filter by class & child Teachers and admins can now filter Chat, Notes, Requests, Forms, and Concerns by class, right from the Communication home. Parents with multiple children can switch between them in one tap. Class names now show consistently across chats, forms, and threads. Never miss what matters A new unread badge on the Communication tile shows your total unread items (chats, notes, requests, forms, concerns) at a glance from the home screen. Consent forms now appear in your notifications — and stay there until you act on them, with reminders for anything still pending. Forms that work for you Parents can now add a written note when responding to a form — perfect for consent replies or sharing important details (e.g. "Yes, please take extra care near water"). Attach a document, write a note, or both. Empty submissions are no longer allowed, so nothing slips through. Teachers and admins see parent notes alongside any uploaded files. Chat improvements Message times now display correctly in IST across the chat list and conversations. Cleaner new-chat experience: parents reach the right class teachers and school admins. Admins Create and send forms to any class in your school. Plus assorted fixes and performance improvements for a smoother experience.

This was caused by a race condition — now eliminated. Role selection is now instant — zero API calls, zero loading spinners. All context is pre-loaded at login. Session restore (PIN re-auth) now correctly routes multi-role staff back to the role picker.
