Update 1.8
This update adds major new systems, expands the Karma Shop and market, improves immortal progression, and includes a large number of gameplay, UI, and balance fixes across all worlds. Based on your latest draft here.
New and Expanded Systems
- Item Quality System
All items now roll a quality percentage. Quality affects item power, passive bonuses, consumables, and sell value. Soul items now keep their real quality, and past life relics preserve quality. Quality is now shown more consistently across inventory and selling.
- Karma Shop and Market Overhaul
The Karma Shop now uses caches with weighted drop tables. Duplicate rewards refund Karma. Caches are now inventory items that can be stored, opened later, sold, and listed on the Karma Market. The market and inventory were also redesigned for cleaner browsing, larger cards, better filters, and support for caches and costumes.
- Costume Shop and Costume Caches
Added costume support across the Karma system, including costume caches, costume ownership tracking, costume inventory display, costume market browsing, direct costume purchasing, and better shop organization.
- Leaderboard Improvements
Your own entry is now pinned at the top even outside the top ranks. Equipped costumes now display correctly. Leaderboards now properly support immortal characters, can update while alive, and now include season resets, rewards, and promo code rewards for caches and costumes.
- Immortal Realm Expansion
Immortal progression now includes proper immortal factions, sect systems, rivals, rank support, recruitment, and simulation. Rivals, companions, and sect members now scale correctly into immortal tiers.
- Fantasy Kingdom Systems
Added a tax system that affects income, stability, and rebellion risk. Alliances and marriages now provide real benefits such as silver, troops, and stability. Diplomacy and kingdom interactions were also improved.
- Other New Systems
Added auto-sell, NPC alignment effects, military actions, improved gambling with percentage based bets, and God Mode past life summoning. Also fixed Legacy Architect and Body Tempering God Mode UI issues. Heir Mode was removed.
