Guess the Graph

Graph Detective is an interactive educational app that helps students build intuition about mathematical functions by analyzing graphs instead of memorizing formulas. Players are shown a graph without its equation and are challenged to reconstruct the underlying function by adjusting parameters or entering expressions. As users experiment, the graph updates in real time, encouraging exploration and hypothesis testing. The app supports multiple difficulty levels: Easy: Explore quadratic and linear functions using sliders Medium: Enter full expressions including trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions Hard: Analyze composite and piecewise functions with minimal hints Graph Detective features a custom math input interface optimized for learning, optional hardware keyboard support, and a built-in cheat sheet that explains common graph patterns and transformations.
