AVF Fistula

This Application focuses on the design and development of an educational Augmented Reality (AR) app, provides an accessible and interactive way to learn about Arteriovenous Fistulas (AVFs). Designed for doctors, nurses, medical students, and patients education and awareness purposes only. The app features four detailed 3D models that illustrate essential AVF structures and flow characteristics. This app does not give, suggest or recommend any medical advice. Included 3D Models: • Vessel Structure – Understand the geometry and formation of an AVF. • Blood Circulation – Visualise blood flow pathways and functional behavior. • Wall Shear Stress (WSS) – Observe stress distribution and vascular remodeling patterns. • Blood Flow Streamlines – Explore velocity changes and hemodynamic flow behaviour inside the AVF. Users can scan QR codes digitally or print them to instantly load models in app, rotate and zoom for close observation. The app aims to support awareness, patient education, and academic understanding of AVF development and function. This app does not give any medical advice.
