Smarter menu pricing, with tax handled properly. • Pre-tax menu pricing: set your menu price excluding OR including tax. Enter either one and Plate Pro fills in the other. • Tax is now added on top of the menu price, so your food cost % is always calculated on the true pre-tax price. • Mark an item as non-taxable and its tax instantly drops to zero. • Reworked costing summary: plate cost, menu price (excl. and incl. tax), food cost %, margin and tax amount, laid out clearly at a glance. • Assorted refinements and fixes. Multi language support (experimental) Plate Pro now supports multiple languages including French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese simplified and traditional, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Dutch, Russian, Swedish, Thai, and more. Translations may contain inaccuracies and feedback is welcome. The base is English and some translations may effect screen layout. Legacy purchase fix Resolved an issue where users who purchased Plate Pro before the freemium update were incorrectly shown free tier limitations. Full access is now properly recognised. Performance and stability Major codebase optimisation has reduced app size and improved responsiveness across all screens.

Fixed a critical issue where numeric fields (prices, quantities, yield percentages) could fail to save correctly for users with non-English locale settings (e.g., Greek). Number input now fully respects your device's regional format, including comma decimal separators. This ensures ingredient pricing, order sizes, and par levels are always saved and displayed accurately, regardless of your language or region.

Stock Items Price Tracking View price change details directly in your supplier’s stock items list. See the percentage change, dollar amount, and date of the last price update at a glance. Print a detailed Stock Items Price Changes report from any supplier, showing current and previous prices, change amounts, and dates. Ideal for tracking supplier cost movements over time.
