I get so emotional hearing the plan of attack given to callers that have the smallest or largest debt. I’m sure it gets them excited and gives them hope. Bad app, good content
This gets 1 star for the app and 5 for the content. The developers should be fired. The shows are listed in order but they play backwards. If you finish yesterday’s show, it doesn’t go to today’s. Instead it goes the day before. Also, it doesn’t remember which show you are listening to. You have to go find it each time you get back in the car.

APP DEVELOPERS: PLEASE READ FOR HELPFUL FEEDBACK!
As far as the content offered on the Ramsey app, it is absolute gold. I don’t know of any other app or resource that can give you solid advice and guidance on your money, your relationships, your work, your business and so on. I wish I’d had something like this when I was in my teens to help build a solid foundation and a framework for how I needed to live my live.
There are a few things I would like to see happen with the app though, that I think most folks would appreciate.
1- thumbnails on the videos would be a good addition
2- in the titles of front row seat and other shows where the

No option for mark as played
I’ve been listening to the Ramsey Show for about six months now and really enjoy the concepts they share. I downloaded the Ramsey app because they always recommend listening there, but I find it frustrating to use. Every time I open it, I see episodes I’ve already listened to, and there’s no way to mark them as played or remove them from the recommendations. I end up having to scroll through and play the beginnings just to figure out if I’ve heard them before. Honestly, it’s much easier to listen on the Apple Podcasts app.

Content is great, but app hangs up often
The app hangs up frequently. I cannot get the podcast started without killing the app and restarting it. It happens often enough to be frustrating.
It also seems that several standard podcast features are missing. It starts to replay podcasts that have been watched. You have to restart the app to see new podcasts. The audio only versions often lag behind for several days.

Just Release the Whole Episode Online
This app is perpetually unfinished. They finally fixed the issue where episodes randomly stop playing but then another bug pops up. Now, it doesn’t remember where I left off in the episode I was listening to. I’ll be 80% through and when I go back to finish, it starts from the beginning. It’s too frustrating. I’m going back to my podcast app and will just miss the third hour.

Great information, great team. I had to delete the app, they kept removing the audio episodes. The video episodes kept repeating even after i adjusted my settings to “ hide viewed episodes “ Update: I downloaded the app once more, played one - two video episodes and it started glitching again. And, and still no audio episodes. Thank you while it lasted DR team, but this time I will not download the app ever again, even if i lose my audio books.

Don't Like App
Ramsey has been widely available for a long time. I've purchased a significant amount of products and services from them. Now they want to track and harass me too. Standard podcast apps that have the features users want are superior for consuming content than the poorly designed content specific apps. Believer but app not so good
I’m a follower of the Ramsey plan, but the app leaves a lot to be desired. I listen to podcasts but they have now limited podcasts and try to force you onto their still immature app. Since day one with the app, it can keep consistent with selected speeds (other than s l o w), which has proven really annoying. This includes witching the same podcast/video, as well as follow on programming. I guess the unintended good part for me is I now stick with my previous app, going 2X speed, and just listen to shortened versions that allow me to listen to other shows as well

I’ll start by saying I’m a big consumer of Ramsey personality content. From many podcasts, video, social channels and reading their books. I really value their principles and ideas. When they started pushing users to this app for the complete 3 hour Ramsey podcast, I thought no big deal. But I really dislike using their app to listen to the podcast! It doesn’t keep track of your listening progress, or which episodes you’ve already listened to. So I end up having to click through episode after episode to find where I last left off. I like how Apple Podcasts app shows me a preview of the episode

Audiobooks Not Downloadable
Was required to move to this app when the old audiobook app was discontinued. Because I normally listen to audiobooks off line (i.e. when flying , etc) this app is useless. The audiobooks are not able to be downloaded, and just to login to the app requires access to the internet. It was a waste of my money to buy any books directly from Ramsey Solutions as I cannot even listen to them when I have time to do so. If I buy any additional audiobooks it will be through another source where I can actually listen the books. Now I know why the audiobooks through the company are so highly discount

I like the content. However, I often am unable to play it. I download the audio. It won't play, and sometimes I even get an error in the app before trying to play anything. And it won't stream either. My best option is to delete the app, redownload, and log in again. Even that does not always work. I am near the point of not caring to listen to any content on my preferred podcast platform.

My recent switch from Apple Podcasts to get my daily dose of Ramsey came with disappointment.
The Ramsey app provides a wealth of free information the app maturity isn’t quite so good. The lack of the ability to customize your experience makes it difficult to enjoy the content.
The application often starts playing without selecting it. Only the act of unlocking the phone is needed.
The inability to mark shows that you already listen to mean you have constantly open to select the next episode on the list.

Great show. App needs work
After reading so many people complaining about the app on You Tube and that you had to go there to listen to the whole show, I had low expectations. I've been listening on the app for a few days and it is probably better than I expected. I wish they would add the option of listing the podcasts in reverse chronological order, so most recent first, but listening in chronological order. I don't want to resort them to reverse chronological order because it starts with very old episodes. I just want to catch up on 5-10 episodes occasionally.

I’ll start by saying I love this show and listen everyday. I was disappointed when I had to download a separate app to be able to hear the entire show, but that is what it is. My problem is the app playback for audio is terrible in bad to no service areas. As I’m driving around all day, I should be able to listen to a downloaded episode with no drop outs like Apple Podcasts app. But it will just stop play and won’t be able to open the with no service.

I appreciate that they want us to download the app to communicate better with the fanbase, but listening to the show on the app is frustrating. It messes with my hotspot when I’m working remotely, it’ll randomly pause and I’ll have to find the episode again, and sometimes it just doesn’t load episodes (it’ll take a couple tries to get it going). It’s so much better using a podcast app to listen rather than this app. Hopefully in the future it’s a smoother experience.

The audiobook I purchased is not cannot be played offline
Very disappointed. I bought an audiobook from this site /app and tried to listen to it while in airplane mode. No dice. Who sells audiobooks and doesn’t make them available offline? And it was $20, so I bought the book, I didn’t just rent it. Furthermore, nowhere on the app does it state that the a-books are not downloadable. And instructions for downloading are in the help section of the app! I wrote to the Ramsey group who said the “team” is working on adding this option. I want a refund!

I’d like to download The Ramsey Show. But since they’ve added this Ramsey Network app, I can’t download it. I would love to listen to the additional 20 minutes of content it seems to have more glitches, is missing CarPlay but when I can hear it, it’s amazing. I’ve been listening religiously for the past 4 years and enjoyed it 100%! Now since 1/2 of the show has moved to the Ramsey app I have missed hours of awesome content because the show from the app while driving is a joke. This is so disappointing and a real loss. Bug Report / Feature Request
Overall the app works great, but it could use some improvement with live shows and keeping track of user progress. I listen at work so it’s not uncommon for me to stop listening live and then continuing for the drive home or when the current work issue is resolved. It would be nice if in all cases I could resume where I left off and didn’t have to keep trying to find where I left off.

Hi Drew,
I know we spoke about Dave Ramsey’s app, when I was with you guys, but it just came to me again to remind you to download and listen to the “Entree Leadership” section. It is only Dave and no one else. They are a wealth of great business podcasts. I have been binging when driving. It is well worth listening to. I wish I had access to that information when running my own business.

Great content, bootstrapped app
The tech doesn’t work properly and this is better for Ramsey but not customers. The apple podcast app works great and is a single place for everything and works every time.
This affords the Ramsey team more info and control, but I am not seeing the upside.
The recommended videos are interesting (good use of A.I. technology)
I have 2x speed selected and it works for one video and then goes back to normal speed the next one.
I would make this compelling rather than shutting off the option for Apple Podcasts. Since your namesake is a capitalist, you need competition, right??.Keep the comp

The app works well. The only suggestion I would make is that make it compatible with Apple Carplay. I can't skip ahead or back skip with the physical buttons on my steering wheel. Otherwise, great app.

Update is terrible
Please fix whatever was done a few days ago. Never had any problems listening to the show on the app. Now since the last update, it sits and spins forever until it connects. Also, it cuts out when in a “dead zone”. That never happened before as long as I was already listening to it. This is my go to show, please fix!
