Türk gazeteciliğinin piri Agâh Efendi’nin Tercüman-ı Ahval’i çıkarışından 95 yıl sonra, 26 Mayıs 1955 tarihinde özel bir teşebbüsle çıkarılan Tercüman gazetesi, Osmanlı’nın son yüzyılında devraldığı gazetecilik mirasını yepyeni bir yaratımla Cumhuriyet’e taşıdı.
Tercüman.com, coğrafya, insan ve kültür ekseninde yeni bir bakış açısı sunmak; açıklayıcı gazetecilik prensibiyle olayların arkasındaki bağlamı aktarmak; ve yeni çağın, yeni şehrin ve yeni yaşam biçimlerinin içinde kim olduğumuzu anlamak, daha büyük bir dünyanın parçası olduğumuzu anlatmak için Tercüman.com okurlarını mobil uygulamasıyla “Keşfet”meye, “Oku”maya, ve “Dinle”meye davet ediyor.
