Description

Why Viko? Long story in short, for better accessing web videos. For the videos on the webpage, we maybe want to watch it again, while browser history is a choice, when the history records is too many, that will be a problem to find the video out again. Viko will collect the web videos' urls automatically when you are using Safari. Once you allowed Viko extension for Safari on every websites, you do not need to worry about videos will fly your eyes any more, the web videos' url will be recorded by Viko. Viko intended to cache the web videos at the first, while it is rejected by the guidelines, it is really messy for me, as I have seen some apps also cache web videos is online already. I must say sorry to take the cache function away, that means you have to watch the videos online, if no network connection, you could not watch videos. Viko's core function is helping you collect web videos' urls. Though Viko makes web videos management easier than ever, there're still some limitations you should know about Viko. As lack of webRequest API in Safari iOS extension, Viko could not collect all kinds of web video, some videos are originally by passed JS function, which is only possible fetched by webRequest API could not be collected by Viko. When Viko successfully detected a video url, it will show a red dot on the right top corner of the webpage, Viko extension does not change anything, you just browser web pages on Safari as you did in previous, Viko just shows a red dot let you know a video url is recorded into Viko native app. Except of recording video urls, Viko does nothing else, so you could feel free to give its full permission on every website. If you want to control more on the web videos, install Viko will be a great choice. Now, Viko could not cache videos any more, you could only play collected video urls online, or just open it in Safari again if you have not added it into collection yet. When the video url becomes invalid, you could open the original webpage, then get the new video url to go on watching online.
