What’s New Version 2.0.3
NRTH 2.0.3
If it's been a while, welcome back. NRTH now runs on Blocks: you stack the training you need and it compiles into one calendar that adapts every time you train. Miss a session or a whole week and the plan reshapes around you. Hyrox stations open Build and Sustain tracks as you progress, there's a feed to train alongside other people, and Insights tells you where you're losing the most time on race day.
This update makes all of it faster and smoother:
- Speed everywhere. Your dashboard, plan and profile now load instantly from cache and refresh in the background, with clean loading placeholders instead of blank screens.
- Back to today. The Plan tab lands you on today's workout again when you open it on a new day, and shows a quick "building your plan" moment while it recalculates.
- Apple Health and wearables. Synced workouts now map to the correct activity types, and we squashed the duplicate "tag your workout" prompts some of you saw after a sync.
- Under the hood. A batch of stability and correctness fixes, plus security hardening.
Thanks for training with NRTH. Keep pushing.
Description
NRTH is adaptive training for hybrid athletes, built around a community that keeps you accountable. Your plan responds to every session you log, and the people you train with are right there to push you on.
Your training lives in Blocks: Endurance, Strength, Weight Optimisation, Skill and Mobility. Choose the ones you want and NRTH builds your week around them, then adapts as you go. Lifts progress, core holds build, and your runs anchor to paces from your real race times. Whether you're laying down your first base or chasing a Hyrox podium, the plan scales to where you are and gets harder as you do.
Every athlete gets a unique @handle, your identity across the app and a shareable link to your profile, with your training, challenges and milestones all in one place. The supporter feed brings your people's training together too: their workouts, milestones and 15-second challenge clips, all in NRTH's card style. Respect and comment on what they do, get a notification when someone supports you back, and keep each other going.
You stay in control of what you share. Weight and life-context are private by default, and everything else is your call, kept to yourself or shown off to the NRTH community. Start training for free, and with NRTH Pro when you want more.

Build 887658350v2.0.12026-07-01 04:41:31
NRTH 2.0 — our biggest training update yet, now refined and hardened with a
native performance and stability pass.
TRAIN SMARTER WITH BLOCKS
• Hyrox station development: every station now has a clear path forward.
Master the technique, then keep progressing through Build (strength &
accessory work) and Sustain (race-weight capacity) layers that never dead-end.
• Smarter Hyrox setup: your plan generates instantly when you set up a block,
with clear control over when NRTH adapts your plan versus when your own
changes take priority.
• Develop several skills in a single block, each with its own progression
track.
SHARPER RUNNING INSIGHTS
• Pace zones tuned to your current fitness, plus race-distance insights for
5K, 10K, Half and Marathon.
• More accurate per-kilometre splits, computed from your raw activity data.
• Set a target race and let NRTH steer your training paces toward race day.
• Bike rides no longer skew your running PBs and predictions.
CONNECT YOUR TRAINING
• Strava integration: sync your activities automatically, with smart
de-duplication against your wearable data.
• A richer activity feed — search for people to follow, and tap any activity
to see the full story: splits, plan comparison and strength detail.
• Capture a run from a screenshot when you don't have wearable data.
• A grouped notification centre that takes you straight to what matters.
POLISHED & HARDENED
• Apple Health / Apple Watch syncing fixed.
• More secure sign-in and session handling under the hood.
• Endurance setup now includes Stairmaster and walking; strength sessions
handle cardio-machine work correctly.
• A wide range of layout, stability and quality-of-life fixes across Blocks,
the feed and insights.
Thanks for training with NRTH. Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from
you.
Build 887686493v2.0.22026-07-01 19:25:05
NRTH 2.0.1
Meet Blocks
This is the release everything else was building toward. Your training should move with your life, not the other way round. Blocks lets you stack the training you need and compiles it into one calendar that adapts every time you train. Miss a session, travel, or have a brutal week, and the plan reshapes itself around you. Every session you finish teaches it what to give you next.
Hyrox stations that keep climbing
Once you've got a station's technique down, it opens two ongoing tracks: Build for heavier accessory work, and Sustain for holding capacity at race weight. There's always another level.
Insights now ranks your stations by where you're losing the most time on race day and tells you which to work on next. One tap takes you into that station's plan.
Also in this release
- Stack several skills into one block and each gets its own progression track.
- A feed you can search: find people to support, with redesigned activity cards showing your streak, block colours and a fuller summary.
- Tap any activity for the full detail: per-kilometre splits, plan comparison and a strength breakdown.
- Pace zones built around your current fitness, with a heads-up when a prediction looks unreliable.
- Per-kilometre splits in your wearable workouts.
- Stairmaster and walking added to endurance setup.
- Accountability partners: see how your partner's plan is going, talk it through in a comments thread, and spot when someone needs a nudge.
Fixes
- Plans no longer generate empty when you set up a block.
- Adapt vs Override now shows clearly when the app is adjusting your plan and when it's honouring a change you made.
- The Blocks calendar opens on today.
- Strength deloads explain themselves: the card tells you you'll be back to your working weight next session.
- Cardio-machine strength sessions show time and distance, and log without a weight.
- Strength starting weights are now optional. Leave them blank and go.
- Hyrox sled weights now match the official Open and Pro totals.
- Faster workout-detail loading, steadier feed comments, and a range of smaller fixes.
Build 887243923v2.02026-06-21 19:33:40
NRTH 2.0 — your training, sharper than ever.
RUNNING INSIGHTS
See your running like never before: personalised pace zones, race-distance insights for 5K, 10K, Half and
Marathon, your personal-best heart rate and cadence, and recent-form trends — all tuned to what you're training
for.
STRAVA
Connect Strava to bring your runs and rides straight into NRTH, automatically matched against your watch data so
nothing's double-counted.
TRAIN FOR YOUR RACE
Set a target race — distance, date and goal time — on your Endurance block, and NRTH sharpens your weekly runs to
bring you to the start line ready. Set a goal in Blocks and it shows in your Insights; set it in Insights and it
flows back to your plan. Works for Hyrox too.
NOTIFICATION CENTRE
A new grouped inbox keeps every nudge, reaction and challenge update in one place — tap through to go straight
where you need to.
LOG A RUN FROM A SCREENSHOT
No watch data? Snap a screenshot and NRTH reads it in.
PLUS
Apple Health & Apple Watch syncing fixed for the latest devices, a cleaner, roomier Blocks screen, smoother
comments, and a host of polish and fixes.
Thanks for training with NRTH.
Build 887154939v1.9.102026-06-18 19:59:09
A NEW WAY TO TRAIN
Your training is now organised into Blocks — Strength, Endurance, Weight Optimisation, Skills and Mobility — compiled into one adaptive calendar.
Every session you complete feeds the engine: your plan progresses, adapts to how hard things felt, and shows you what's next.
• Strength: per-exercise notes, easy exercise swaps, double-progression with
auto-regulation, and XP for every session you log. New — choose which weekday
each strength session lands on, and it sticks week to week.
• Endurance: run paces set from your race times, with wearable-suggested
updates you approve.
• Weight Optimisation: a self-calibrating daily energy target that adapts to
your activity.
APPLE HEALTH & APPLE WATCH
Connect Apple Health and your Apple Watch — now available to every iPhone
user. Your Watch workouts flow straight into NRTH.
TRAIN TOGETHER
• Activity feed: follow the people you support — their workouts with route, pace and distance, their badges and challenge clips — and respect or comment on any of it. Now you're notified when someone reacts to your activity; tap to jump right into the thread.
• Coaches: link a coach so they can see inside your strength sessions — movements, targets and working weights — and leave notes.
• Accountability partners, and coach-link requests, now confirm right from
your notifications.
Build 887102807v1.9.92026-06-17 22:58:48
NRTH 1.9.9 — your handle, your blocks, your people.
Claim your handle. Every NRTH athlete now has a unique @handle — your identity across the app and a shareable link to your profile.
Build your training in Blocks. Structure your training across Endurance, Strength, Weight Optimisation, Skill and Mobility on one adaptive calendar. Pick the blocks you want and NRTH builds the week around them — then adapts as you log each session: lifts progress, core holds build, and your runs anchor to paces from your real race times.
Follow the people you train with. The new supporter feed brings your people's training into one place — workouts, milestones and 15-second challenge clips — in NRTH's card style. Respect and comment on what they do, and get notified when someone supports you back. You stay in control of exactly what appears on your feed, with weight and life-context private by default.
Plus a broad reliability pass across workouts, challenges, profile and notifications.
Build 885807889v1.9.82026-05-19 22:21:11
NRTH 1.9.8. Three big additions: Athletic Intuition, Athlete Matrix, and a rebuilt Insights tab.
Athletic Intuition Every workout now gets a NRTH Observation: three lines on what the session actually was, grounded in your description, your chip, and your recent training. Two new chips help the model read you honestly. Effort verification (Easier / Expected / Harder) overrides what the watch thought. HR source (Wrist / Chest / Machine / Manual) tells us how much to trust the number.
Athlete Matrix A new tab visualising six months of training as a connected graph. Workouts, stations, and races as nodes, sized by stimulus, clustered by what you actually did. Tap any node for the full session.
Insights rebuild (Hyrox) Race trajectory hero showing previous race, current projection, and projected-with-a-plan. Per-station momentum, weekly effort mix, and a worst-station call-out for the week ahead.
Workout detail Redesigned. NRTH / WATCH toggle on the effort chart. Stacked effort zones bar. Long-press any bar to override. Training Load card translating Garmin's metrics into plain English.
Plus Full badges system with celebration toasts. Background snippet uploads. HR, pace, and cadence sparklines on Progress. Universal Links for shared challenges. And the whole app finally has the rounded corners it was always meant to have.
Thanks to the beta crew. Keep flagging the edge cases.
Build 885397154v1.9.72026-05-07 22:54:26
NRTH 1.9.7. Every workout counts now.
If you've ever finished a Garmin run and thought "wait, why doesn't NRTH know I just trained?" — this is the release that fixes it. Your daily flow workouts, your shared challenge sessions, and everything you log on Garmin now flow into the same totals. Active days, weekly volume, streaks. All of it, from everywhere, properly counted.
Your Garmin, properly connected.
Connect once and every run, ride, or session lands in NRTH with the map, heart rate, pace, and zones. We've gone back and pulled in the older Garmin workouts that were missing their detail too, so your history actually looks like your history.
Streaks that tell the truth.
Train today, however you train, and your streak ticks up. Daily flow, a shared challenge, a Garmin session — they all count. Skip a day and it resets, same as before. We've also started tracking your peak streak, so your longest run is yours forever even when life gets in the way.
Shared challenges, but better.
The social bits feel tighter. Respect and comments sit together so hyping someone up is one quick action. Entry videos show your actual rep count instead of a generic badge, so what you did is what people see. And milestone notifications behave themselves now.
A more honest progress page.
Your totals match your chart. Your weekly numbers reflect every way you trained. Everything lines up the way you'd expect it to.
Plus a load of small things you'll feel without noticing:
Your Challenges sorted newest first, with Active, Completed, and Partial laid out clearly
Tap a workout notification and you go straight to that workout
Smoother sign-in when you follow a link from a mate
If a friend sent you an invite, it'll work. If you've been waiting to connect your Garmin, it's ready. If you're chasing a streak, every session you do counts toward it now.
Train hard. We'll handle the data.
Build 885168083v1.9.62026-05-01 21:31:17
NRTH 1.9.6 — Shared Challenges go live.
Group challenges are here. Set a target. Invite your crew. Track progress as a team.
Tap an invite link from your messages, email, or social and the NRTH app opens straight to the challenge — sign in or
sign up and you're in.
Push notifications, restored. We rebuilt the push system end-to-end so you'll know when a friend joins, logs a
session, hits a milestone, or sends respect — without checking the app.
Profile and settings, redesigned. Connected Devices, notification preferences, and account controls now live on your
profile (tap your avatar). Cleaner, less buried, more aligned with how you actually use the app.
Wearables groundwork. Connect your Garmin and start syncing. (Apple HealthKit on the way.)
Plus a stack of polish — your team challenge dashboard refreshes automatically when someone joins, the auth screens
have proper navigation between Sign Up and Log In, and dozens of smaller fixes across the app.
Train solo. Train together. Train hard.
Build 885044272v1.9.52026-04-29 19:58:40
Progress, made personal.
After every challenge session, see how you're trending — the line moves up as you get faster, gold lights your PB, and a stats grid surfaces this session vs your best.
After your first Hyrox, the reveal asks how it felt. Happy or Unhappy — your call frames the rest.
Capture flow no longer loses paste data on back. Share button is honest about branded vs raw.
Dashboard polish, smarter share timing, more reliable updates.
