Description
The SMRT (Starnik Meter Reading Technology) app is intended for use by meter readers utilizing the Starnik platform. The SMRT app replaces printed meter reading route sheets as well as old, expensive, and outdated handhelds. The SMRT app automatically syncs to the billing platform and allows you to:
• Input meter readings for meters assigned to your route
• Create work orders on demand as problems are identified in the field
• Work Offline and easily sync when network is available
• View specific meter and service address related details
• View and update meter comments
• View the meter’s exact GPS location on a map
• Easily see progress along the route (# of meters read vs total meters in the route)
• Notify meter readers of potential leaks with high usage alerts
