This is my favorite portable speaker when you consider size, price, and the sound it produces all at once. It’s just perfect. I can’t wait until I can afford 1 more. And it’s crazy that you can connect 150 of them together.

The app is a great concept and my issues are likely due to Bluetooth limitations. I often get static during playback when in PartyUp mode. Also I find that handoff among devices is difficult, sometimes requiring turning all speakers off and back on.

Have had to contact CS several times because of staticky noise on my speakers. They ran me through the mill on having to pull receipts (who keeps them any more?). Gave me a hard time about 2-separate speakers which were well inside the warranty period. Looking to go back to JBL speakers instead.

I’ve owned 4 Hyperboom speakers for about 3 years now and have found constant challenges with synching them through the app. They work most of the time, but more often than I’d like, the speakers don’t sync properly making songs super glitchy. Forcing me to reset everything, which is a pain. The other big miss for me is the ability to control the volume on individual speakers. I’m only able to sync the volume or turn all speakers up at the same time. I wish there would be an update for this, so I don’t have to walk around the apartment adjusting each speaker manually when I need to balance th

Pretty good speakers for the price point I guess , I feel the older speakers were built little better . I have issues with some of the newer models that never happened to the older models. Cool that u can connect a bunch together easy to hook up with my people and link all are stuff together makes for light traveling when on stand everyone brings a speaker or so and we can have good/loud surround sound . U do get some crackle from time to time with connecting issues which is annoying but overall happy with the purchases .

I have two original Boom speakers and 1 Hyperboom speaker. I love how they are waterproof, shockproof, hookup easily and last but not least sound good! This app is great for remote control of the speakers volume, eq and a few other settings. Another great feature of the app is the ability to enable Bluetooth low energy on each speaker. With BTLE enabled, the speakers can still be remotely controlled from the app even if turned off! They are essentially in “sleep” mode and the app can wake them up. The down side is it uses extra battery with BTLE enabled. Finally, there is the “Party Up” featu

For The most part, I truly enjoy the speakers! Great quality sound for little speakers. I only have one complaint, that is every now and then one will shut off with no prior warning. And then sometimes they don’t want to shut off and you have to manually shut them off instead of using the app, but as far as the sound, 4 out of 5 stars!
