Used this app for years!
Just as reliable as the Weather Channel app. It updates regularly, so living in a flip-flip weathery area I know I can check in and see the latest predictions. They have a free option, but I paid for the app because I like to support small businesses. When I updated the app a few years ago I didn’t get all of the features, and when I reached out, I was told there are two (2!!) people who run this whole thing. They quickly restored my settings and it was just as good as ever. My 4 year old likes checking the forecast with me everyday because we have 3 cats and the pictures make us laugh.

Was great but they’ve ruined it
I really enjoyed this app until lately. Recently the app has been making you look at a short ad before you could access it. Unobtrusive & very short, so I lived with it. Now they’ve just offered the spring theme for free, but when you watch the usual ad in order to get the theme, you can’t get out of it & back to the weather. I tried downloading the app advertised (which I didn’t want), but that didn’t help. I deleted Weather Kitty twice & tried again, same thing happened. Then the third time during the ad watch it froze my phone’s screen to black. I shut off my phone & restarted it, but then,

I would gladly pay for this app, but…
Weather Kitty is a cute, nicely designed app. Of course it is infested with ads that can be removed if you subscribe. Here’s the thing: I would buy this app outright if I could have it without having to subscribe. Many people feel this way. Subscriptions (in general) are designed so people forget them and keep paying well after they’ve forgotten what they’re paying for. Not being given the option to just purchase an app is shortsighted and developers may not realize *how many* people feel this way, and how many people are forgoing getting a subscription And instead just dealing with the ads.

What more could you want? Accurate weather reports, 7 day forecast, next 24 hours broken down by hour, radar reports and cute little kitties! You can have it for free with ads at the bottom of the page or you can throw them a few bucks and get no ads. I Love This App So Much!! Not only that all the images in the supplied “themes” are adorable beyond words, but the ability to upload photos of your Own kitties-!! Have been using the free version for some time now. And was sent a request with a special subscription yearly rate. Couldn’t pass it up. This app gives me a smile first thing every morning. I’m Administrator on a couple of sites locally so the groups get a snapshot of the Weather Kitty photo pop-up with main info. People in those groups plus my own personal feed look forward to it. The free choices of cat photos are guaranteed to make cat and animal lovers smile. And the weather forecasts have a high right of accuracy by the hour. i’ve been using weather kitty for probably half a decade or more now, i’m have a lifetime subscription to meow prime, i’ve adored the app since day one, always given it five stars every time it asks me to rate it, but recently i’ve noticed AI generated images slipping into mix of cats it shows me. there’s no disclaimer about what dataset they use, so unless they’ve built their own using images they have permission to use, they’re literally using effectively stolen images to make new content to hopefully generate sales of more premium memberships, which i have a problem with. instead of using

I really like this app because of the facts that it is actually well done showing all the data you could possibly need and also the fact that it is regularly updated. I originally downloaded this app as a joke but now I try ink I use it more than the apple weather app. Another thing to like is that you don’t have to have the “meow prime” to get more backgrounds but instead you can just watch a small commercial/advertisement which are usually skips me after 5-10 seconds and get the background you liked. Weather Kitty gives me a good feel for the weather!
I need Apple weather to say the temperature and the basic weather but Weather Kitty lets me know how I’m gonna feel about it! For example Apple usually tells me it’s about 4+ degrees colder than it will actually feel with my coat on and moving. This morning it was snowing but also rain was forecast and it said about 34 F. 5th review: Well over a year and I still love the app. And still can’t afford to upgrade. *sigh* Recently, the app began using only one of my local weather stations. I had been trying to find a weather app that I like this entire year. I have tried several, only to be disappointed with poor ease of use and missing weather details. I tried the Weather Kitty with a great amount of pessimism. I have found, not surprisingly, that I love the kitties, but quite surprisingly, that the weather details are to my satisfaction. Ease-of-use could be improved if I did not have to add a city (minus the location in which I currently reside) to my list in order to see its weather details. This is the best weather app I’ve seen. The many cats and kittens and their cat-egories are absolutely adorable. I look forward to seeing which photo will come up every day. The weather information is very good, too. There is so much more information in easy sections than any of the other weather apps I saw. This is the most accurate weather app I have found yet!!! Where others tell you it's going to snow or rain and this one is always right!!! Unlike most apps that make you watch something before they let you use it this one just puts a small one in the bottom of the screen you can see it but it does not effect the app so much so far it’s been pretty accurate to and you can get weather from all around the world with a simple swipe of the finger the best part to me tho is that you get to see different cats they seem to change with the time of day like at night you may see a cat sitting on a apartment windowsill over looking a starry night sky they seem to cut out and paste cats here and there but you don’t mind so much because it kee

Like today. For Fairfax VA, it says it is currently 49 degrees. Correct. Today’s forecast is high 32 low 14. Wrong - it’s going to be in the 60s today. A hint as to why I should not trust the 10-day forecast is that today is Monday and tomorrow is labeled Thursday, so it appears that they are using an old forecast due to an error where they could not get the right one from their upstream provider. Instead of providing a bad forecast, they should blank out the forecast if they had a problem. This is not the first time this has happened. Sometimes, the forecast is way out of whack (telling me it

Adorable and useful
I only have the free version, and the ads for that are quite visible, but I’m not complaining. I understand that that’s what I get in return for it being free. This is a very cute app. I have a total of four weather apps on my iPad, and I like to use all of them, but Weather Kitty is my go-to. This one has a nice clean interface once you get the hang of pulling it up from the bottom. At first it was not working for me and was very frustrating, but now that I know how it’s done, it’s quite easy. The information seems accurate. More so than some of the other apps. Love this app!
I really love this app! I'm a Mother of Cats (GOT reference) and I just think they're beautiful and they make me so happy. Not only do I get to ogle beautiful kitties, but this weather app is by far the best weather app I've used. The basic weather app that comes on iPhones doesn't have a radar map which really irks me. I live in Michigan and weather is very odd here and the lakes effect precipitation and also where precipitation goes so it's just very nice to have radar to check specific areas. I believe I also tried the weather channel app due to the radar map available but it kept freezing
