The new update changed everything about the app and basically turned it into a website browser it looks horrible and takes forever for any of my transactions to go through now or update to show me how much money I have remaining whereas before it would update within minutes what happened here people.

Wasn’t broken

This app update is the worst ever. It is very slow. The layout and fonts are clunky. Several of the actions I used to do on the app don’t work even though there are spots for them. I have to log into the online banking to do some things I used to do on the app. Whoever reviewed this and approved it needs to have a review of their own with HR.

Should be much better

When the app works I like it. However it seems like it doesn’t work for more than a few weeks before it will log you out. Then it’s extremely difficult to get logged back in. Face ID won’t work password won’t work. I’ve been hoping they fix it. I really like the local bank experience. That you receive inside of the branch. However in today age you also have to have an app that works well. As most banking is now done online. I’m holding out hope that they fix it, but I’m also starting to look for a new bank.

The worst!!!

This app is one of the worst experiences you could have banking. I have been with this bank for over 20 years, and have exclusively used united bank for all my banking needs since the young age of 18. The only reason to download this app is to be able to say that you got the opportunity to use the most frustrating app available. Use any other bank that exists and you will be happier than this experience.

Too many password changes!

It seems that every 2 weeks or so it will log me out of my account on my phone-but when I use my FaceID to fill in my saved password, it locks me out of my account! This has happened so many times that I’m having to reset my password like once a month. Even worse, the reset password tools on the app don’t ever load, so I have to close the app and go to the not-mobile-friendly website. I just don’t understand why my FaceID saved password, which is updated EVERY TIME, logs me out of my own account? Now I have a hard time remembering what the password even is because I have changed it so many tim

At least twice a month I am blocked out of my account and am forced to call into support where I am sucked into an hour long phone call just so I can reset my password. THE WORST BANK IN MICHIGAN. Literally have no idea why I am still associated with these bums. Constant inconveniences because of them and it is at my expense. Do not use this app or with this bank please.

Signs me out.

When the app works it’s great but about 50% of the time it does not work. It will sign me out without notice and then tell me my password is wrong even that I know with 100% certainty that it IS right. Then it will lock me out Until I call the United bank support line.

I have been with United Bank for over 30 years, and got your app from the beginning, but this recent update and you claim is for security reasons has a phone number that says Sunnyvale California calling me with a verification code I thought My Banks said United Bank of Michigan, if you can't hire a company out of Michigan to send verification code to a bank that is only in Michigan then maybe I need to find a new bank because this is a bunch of crap.

This app used to be good, now it’s so inconsistent. It’s always making me change my password because it says my password is wrong (which it is not). It randomly doesn’t work all the time not allowing me to log in. I’m constantly calling my bank to make sure my account isn’t frozen because the app says my account is locked. I’m considering switching banks just because the app is so bad.

Need to see more transactions

The app is currently set to show transactions only back to the closing date of the last statement. I need to see transactions much further back than that. Ex: If my statement closed yesterday, I would only be able to see today’s transactions. If you made statements available in a PDF format, that would work also but currently the only way to see transactions further back than the last statement closing is to use a computer which is not always convenient.

This is the worst app on my phone. The bank always has issues with their ATMs. The app always has issues and you can’t check your balance unless you call or go to the bank personally. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody.
