A big update this time around. New on the map: a 6th style — 3D — to help you get your bearings in the bigger cities. And every map style now responds to a two-finger tilt, so you can lean the map back and look off into the distance to see what's ahead. If you plan with the itinerary, there's a lot here for you: - Dates are now supported, including multi-night stays in the same town. - The stage banners at the start and end of each day tell you far more now. - Notes you add in the online planner come along for the ride — they import straight into the app. - City pages now show what you've booked, whether it's confirmed, and how you booked it. - The map can walk you through your itinerary one stage at a time. And the route page handles those long lists better — it trims itself at your starting point, with an easy tap to bring the earlier places back whenever you want them.

This release brings the map to life. Tap the new Layers button for points of interest — churches, monuments and castles from Wikipedia, plus drinking fountains, viewpoints, ruins, picnic areas and pharmacies along your route, each with its own info card. I've redrawn every map pin for a cleaner look, pilgrim comments now appear in your language wherever I have a translation, and the map no longer snaps back to your location while you look ahead. I rounded them up, gave them a stern talking-to, and pinned them back where they belong. Your offline map is properly populated again.
