Hidden costs!
After paying $1 (CAD), I was disappointed to learn that it’s another $4 for write support for either APFS or MacOS Exten formats on a sparsebundle, or $10 for many formats. (Rounding up a cent for simplicity.) Should have been transparent about that ahead of time. If I don’t return it, I’ll play with it more and update my rating.

It just works
Simple and private. I used it on iPhone with external USB and internal - all good. (And private - works on veracrypt on workstations as claimed) As a developer I admire this developer- a good idea designed and executed very well. I love the thought out privacy options - privacy obviously was 1st principle in the design- yet usable!! Bravo!

This app is amazing as it operates on a common VeraCrypt file that is accessible by other systems. No more propriety formats and apps! I was looking at other encryption apps and I wish I found this sooner. Now the containers are truly portable.

Does NOT open Truecrypt files
Despite what the description says, it appears this App does NOT open Truecrypt files.
I tried 2 different known good truecrypt files from Dropbox and this App would open neither. It stated it was an unknown disk type.
Waste of money.

This app is very interesting and usefull. I use it with TrueCrypt files and it works great. I can use it with DropBox (where is my TrueCrypt file) or I can transfer such a file from GoodReader to Diskdecipher.
But the remote function should be improved: it's not so easy to enter the URL or, the special code and the link for the use of DropBox. Maybe the use of "copy and paste" would be helpful or something else easy to use.
I don't use keyfile with TrueCrypt...maybe in the future

Really nice app to open truecrypt files. Should be interesting if could import files from local library too and open files with other extensions regardless the file type (e.g. If i want to hide a truecrypt volume i'll not use the .tc extension)

Truecrypt on iPad!
As a long time Truecrypt and Keepass user I have been reluctant to duplicate my data to iPad specific utilities. Not only do I have a higher level of trust in these well tried solutions but there is also the overhead of copying and maintaining different sources for my secure data. Now I don't have to. I can open my Trucrypt volume on the iPad. Not only that, but I have a Keepass database embedded in the Truecrypt volume (call me paranoid) which I can open on the iPad by sending the keepass database to mini keepass directly from disk decipher. Well done it was worth waiting for.

Excellent idea but still immature product
Not ready for prime.
The inapp open-in of the truecrypt volume doesn't work at all. It says file cant be opened.
On top of that the remote file doesn't support https (yet) so no point sharing link with dropbox.
Go and spend half an hour setting up FTP or something just to be able access the file.
Not ready for prime as I said. Needs further work then I'll revise the review.
I continue use "Datalocker" app, which is proprietary but works with dropbox
as I would expect it.

Need an Open in
Have good potential but missing an important feature
Interesting to securely transfer data over an unsecured connection. Example:
1) Encrypt your file with TrueCrypt in a .tc volume file on your PC or NAS
2) Download your encrypted .tc volume file through the unsecured FTP protocol from an iPad app
3) Perform an Open In ... Disk Decipher from your FTP iPad app
Important limitation
- NO WAY TO OPEN THE DECRYPTED FILE in another app (capable of reading the file once decrypted). Can only be read by Disk Decipher.
