It is a “GREAT TOP DOWN RACER” my “ONLY ISSUSE” is that if you upgrade your car “FULLY” some of the “RACE CUPS” are “NOT RACE-ABLE AT ALL” now I REALLY DO NOT CARE” either way I am just going to save up for “THE LAMBORGHINI” and “ALL OF THE UPGRADES” and call it a day…. But “MOST PEOPLE” don’t have “THE TIME OR PATIENCE TO MIX AND MATCH PARTS” So they can race just one “PARTICULAR CUP” just one time….. Ok, slightly frustrating.
Why is there an upper power limit in the career mode? That is completely unnecessary. Just let us race in the lower tier races at a decreased reward rate, like -40% reward for using a higher power car than the suggestion states. Because I feel like this is used to “balance” the abilities of the AI based on your cars power level, which is lame. In other words, when you can’t pass the competition, why have the ability to upgrade past them? In other words, I feel like my being able to upgrade to a slightly higher power than the AI’s shouldn’t feel so underwhelming due to the fact that now you jus

On-screen buttons can be moved.
To the reviewer who wrote that the on-screen control buttons are now in the way of gameplay: Go to options and move them where you like! There are also other control methods available, including tilt. I have a 6s Plus and this is still a great game!

I originally bought this game back when it came out I don't know how long ago. When I say RR3 PPP up on the storefront I decided this would be fun to install and play again, especially on my new iPhone 6 Plus. The last time I played was on an iPhone 4. So, at first it was perfect. Game ran smooth and it looked incredible. But as of recent, which is less than a day later and probably half way through the career, I can't even get through a race or upgrading a car before it just crashes back to the home screen. Tilt steering on this version is pitiful. I have tried to adjust the sensitivity to no avail... There is way to much null zone off center.. I can tilt my iPad almost 15 degrees and the car just begins to turn all be it very slowly.. Tilted around 20 degrees and the car snaps violently into oversteer and all I do is fishtail.. Well, less than a week after I wrote this we get an update that massively streamlines the game on the ipad air. I guess it was a known issue. Back to 5 --------old------- I purchased this hoping the devs would have figured out how to up the frame rate which was always quite low in the first....unfortunately it's basically more of the same in the sequel...similar driving as expected, without any real graphical or performance upgrades. It's a shame, because the game could be great but 15-20 fps on an a7 chip is just not good enough.

Don't let the nice graphics fool you. Some of the races in this game are extremely frustrating, and you need to upgrade your cars quickly to win. But I give the developers credit for not abusing the in-app purchase model. Also, "Tap to begin" takes about four taps to actually "begin", which is annoying when you're in a hurry.

I enjoy racing games but can't play many of them because I get motion sickness. I love top-down racing and there are a few good ones in the App Store. This is the best. It has the highest quality graphics, best physics (by far), and the best AI. I also enjoy customizing my car inside and out. Great, great game. Very affordable price, too.
