《荒漠甘泉》(Streams in the Desert)是基督教的著名灵修书籍,于1920年首次出版。该书不但是20世纪颇为盛名的重要宗教著作,另外也因里面提及的故事颇为动人,因此有不少非基督徒也阅读过此书。它帮助了无数人在困境中获得精神力量。

《荒漠甘泉》的作者是美国传道人考门夫人,她与她丈夫除了于美国服过神职外,也曾一起在东亚传教达二十年之久。这本书是她在其丈夫重病时开始提笔所著,记录了她的灵修生活,以及如何在苦难当中如何藉祷告来获得「盼望、忍耐与喜乐」。该书以日记形式书写,其内文引言主要以《圣经》为依据,也引入了其他神学著作中的段句,并结合夫妻二人的见证和灵修生活,对《圣经》中某些经文展开了非常深入的阐释。教导人们如何通过阅读圣经聆听「神」的话语并明白神的旨意。荒漠甘泉全书虽宗教味浓厚,但因为该书内文流畅且不落俗套,因此1920年发行后,不但在美国发行量很高,更曾被译为数十种文字,通行于全世界。比较特殊的是,该书阅读者不尽然全是基督徒。
