What’s New Version 1.08

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. Updated for 64-bit, so you can continue to play on new versions of iOS. This was a bit of an adventure, since I haven't released an iPhone app in 5 years. If you see any issues, let me know and I'll fix them up as soon as I can.

Description

QWOP is the local sporting hero of a prosperous country in the scandinavian alps. Unfortunately, it is too cold there for an outdoor track, and QWOP has come to the championships without completing his training! You can help QWOP achieve his sporting dreams! You just need to show him how to run. Control QWOP's legs and arms by moving your thumbs around in the diamonds on the screen. Move your thumbs in clockwise circles to make him run. Make QWOP lean forward and back by tilting your device. And whatever you do, don't let QWOP's body touch the ground! Features: - Five game modes: 100m, Hurdles, Long Jump, Steeplechase, and 50km Walk! - Hilarious physics engine. - GameCenter leaderboards. Set a high score and challenge your friends.

Due to popular demand, I've turned this into a universal build for iPad, iPhone, iPhone 5. Retina support is added on iPhones. I also fixed a really stupid bug that was multiplying everyone's scores in the 50km walk by 10. And another bug that was causing slowdown over long play sessions in some events. To celebrate 200,000 copies sold (and also to mourn the impending shutdown of OpenFeint) I've removed OpenFeint and added GameCenter leaderboards. I'm *really* sorry, this means your old high scores have to be deleted. This also means that this update is not available for iPhone 3G users. Please direct hatemail to support@foddy.net or to @bfod on twitter. Or, better yet, direct it at Gree, who bought and shut down OpenFeint. If there's demand, I might add native iPad and retina resolution support. Long Jump, Steeplechase, Walk modes REALLY fixed this time. A small subset of users has reported that they cannot get the app to launch. I am working on this, but since I'm unable to reproduce it myself it will be helpful if affected users could send their device version, iOS version and/or crash logs to support (at) foddy.net
