Annual Subscription (12 months/12 issues) - £41.99
- Subscriptions can be purchased from within the application and will unlock any issues released during the term of the subscription.
- Alternatively single issues can be purchased at a price of £4.99.
- All purchases (inc. subscriptions) will be charged to your iTunes account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions will automatically renew within 24 hours of the end of the current subscription.
- If you would like to cancel your subscription please do so before this 24 hour period by accessing your iTunes account settings.
- Please be aware that subscriptions cannot be cancelled/refunded once purchased.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

Once the app has finished downloading we recommend that you restore any purchases you have made from iTunes. This will ensure that any content previously purchased will be available on the new version of the app. This process does not incur any cost to you, it will simply synchronise any purchases you have made with our system.
To restore purchases tap subscribe in the bottom left of the screen while viewing the magazine shelf. This will present an overlay with a restore purchases button. Tap the button and you will be asked to enter your iTunes username and password. Enter your details and the process should take just a couple of seconds after which you should be presented with a confirmation message.

Updating this application will require you to download the magazines to your device again. If you have already paid for an issue you will not be charged a second time. Once you have entered your iTunes password to begin the purchase process the app store will recognise your account has purchased this non-consumable item before and will allow you to proceed without charge.

Erudite, detailed, with solid data, and perceptive commentary, BI is well conceived and executed. It provides an attractive, engaging and pertinent perspective on large and very large yachts (predominately power, some sail) geared to the very well capitalized connoisseur and wannabe.

A Beacon on the Super Yachts market.
One of my biggest challenges as a yacht broker is to count on polished, efficient and attractive media to promote the yachts I'm selling and BOAT is, no doubts, one of the best. Both sellers and buyers appreciate the way pictures and information are presented, mixed with the right amount of yachting lifestyle and luxury goods. Don’t expect help when it doesn’t work!
I have been a subscriber for several years.Recently it showed I had to pay for every issue I have already paid for. The support email for the app no longer works nor does contacting the magazine directly. Money paid for nothing!

App crashes
The app was working fine until the latest iOS 10.3.3 update where a message pops up and states that "no issues have been setup" then the app crashes.
The content and magazine are great the app is not.

I've yet to be able to even view one copy of this - takes F O R E V E R t o load a copy, then crashes, then deletes what you have just spent 3 hours downloading.

An above average magazine App.
I have multiple magazine subscriptions across the varied app's available (Newsstand, Zinio, stand-alones, etc.) and find Boat International to be plagued with some issues.
While not National Geographic, there is plenty of interactive content to make each issue an upgraded digital version of the print magazine. The Zoom feature is better than most, and combined with the ability to see the featured photos as a gallery make detailed observations of the vessels a snap. Each issue is large (think Wired) so expect a chunk of download time.
The problems began, for me, with "Updating the Shelf". See

Terrible
I downloaded 6 of them (over 7GB data) to read at my flight. I read one at the beginning of the flight . Then after my lunch, when i reopened the app all of my downloaded magazines were gone! Very dissapointed and yet this is not the forst time this has happened to me. Just dont waste your money guys, go buy another app.

Totally Broken
This app simply crashes consistently ( I have the iPad 1 ). Honestly the only thing that works is the flashy video ad at the start which I have now seen 50 times trying to read an issue. You would think with this cover price they could actually invest in a functional magazine. I cannot even get past the first page of the magazine without it crashing 100% of the time. Do not purchase.

Do not update to this version
After updating, any previously purchased magazines were erased! Cannot find a way to recover them again without paying again. It is frustrating and infuriating. Hope the publisher fixes this before I feel the need to escalate my complaint.

Downloaded the app, check, bought one issue of the magazine, check, now want to read the issue and.... It's disappeared! I can buy it again but ya know what I really don't wanna spend $7.99 every time I want to read the magazine, I guess I'm just funny that way!

Good idea. Terrible bugs
Good idea,well executed and will prove to be a great way to read bi.
But, total rubbish as of now. Keeps crashing. Cannot read more than a few pages without it crashing. Does not remember where you are. Does not go past page 12. Keeps crashing out. Video so slow you cannot watch it.
If they fix the crashing so you can actually read the mag you just bought that would be good. Then work on the delivery speed, it will be great.
The actual execution( how you read format etc) is pretty good. Just get someone who knows how to build apps now please :)
