About the NS app
The free NS app is your ideal travelling companion. It lets you plan your entire journey to any address in the Netherlands and keep up to date with the latest travel information and any disruptions as you go. You can also easily check where you can hire a public transport bicycle or shared car in your area, or quickly find the nearest P+R if you are travelling partly by car. See how crowded it is on the train and have your tickets quickly on hand. Everything to help you get going by whatever transport suits you best today.

The journey results now show the departure platform alongside the travel time by default. Prefer to see the number of transfers or fare information? You can change this via the gear icon in the top right.

Purchased a ticket in the app? From this version onward, you can easily and quickly find it right after payment via 'Tickets' at the bottom of the app.
Also in this version we fixed two annoying bugs:
- One that prevented users, in some situations, from deleting a Saved trip.
- Another that prevented users, in some situations, to open the trip details from a Saved trip.
We have improved the experience of searching for travel advice in the new travel planner! This has been extensively tested over the past few months, and from early June we will introduce a new display of the list with travel advice and travel details for all users. We would love to hear what you think about it!

The holidays are (almost) over again, time for a major update of the NS app. From this version onwards, you can find your saved trips via Planner, you can rent a Dott bike again, and all the screens for buying a ticket have been renewed. And coming soon: buying and using tickets in the NS app will become even easier thanks to our new Products screen!
