just as good as i remember
the game is just like how it was when I played it as a kid on the computer :)! Leaving a review because I saw so many reviews advising that the music didnt work, version is out of date, and graphics are fuzzy and it almost deterred me from downloading. Not sure what those ppl were talking about as it works perfectly fine on the newest iphone version. The sounds does require silent mode being turned off which is strange for a mobile game but it definitely works fine! so nice and peaceful

I bought this just to have people never buy my fish and I was too broke to get anything in the shop you gotta put the fish to like $5 or less just to sell them and everything’s expensive so your fish end up dying of sickness, they should atleast buy fish for $20 so u can make money and buy medicine for your fish, also update the game and add speed up feature for when fish are pregnant and for growing fish i don’t wanna wait a whole day

Clearly the developer is done with this game. No updates since 2011. It was a great game then, but it can't function now. Don't bother buying, it's not compatible unless your phone is 3G or older. Read the specs! Their website is down as well. Did they go tits up?

I love this game, but it needs to be updated badly. It hasn't been updated since 2011! Everything looks incredibly fuzzy and awful on a high resolution screen. Please make it crisp and clear again.

Hard to maintain and get fish to survive
I really want to enjoy this game, but I find I can't keep up to feeding the babies, even when the game is on half speed, and if course the babies don't grow if the game is paused. I have a job and a life lol so it would be nice if you could pop in a feed maybe two or three times a day and have it be enough. Gets pretty tiring to have to be running to the app every twenty mins so your fry don't die! but otherwise I love the concept! *note* the cruel irony is that in the time it took to write this review I missed a feeding and all my fry died...

I absolutely love this game! It was my first app purchase and I've played through it several times. Love that you can turn it off if you want or need to. Very well done, I appreciate that it's not super cartoony like a lot of other similar apps. However I do agree with everyone else that's saying it's blurry. That really spoils it and I would be thrilled to see that fixed! Overall, I really like this and would recommend it to anyone!

My eyes!
I bought this app some time ago on my iPhone 3G. It looked fine then, but now on my iPhone 4, it's very blurry. The anti-alias on the interface is very thick and very noticeable, so it's difficult to tell if my fish are sick, or to read anything on the screen. Please update to retina graphics.

I have enjoyed Fish Tycoon since its first release and have had the paid for version for over a year. I am not sure what this update provides but I was disappointed when I installed it and it wiped out my long-saved game with magic fish, all levels completed, etc. Having to start from scratch again, I would hesitate installing it over your existing game if that matters to you.

This game is a huge disappointment compared to this developer's Virtual Families game. Unless you really, really love fish, I wouldn't bother buying this game. Supplies (medicine, tank filter, etc.) are extremely expensive to buy, yet the average selling price of a fish is $4. Rare fish sell for a higher price, but are very difficult to come by. This is also an incredibly boring game - there's nothing to do but watch the fish swim aimlessly around the aquarium.
