It’s not horrible, not my fav merge game though. One of my biggest things is that you really need to fix how cards are collected. You have to tap all the way at the top to open the card pack and then all the way at the bottom to collect for every pack. Most merge games I’ve downloaded have adjusted so you can either collect all the cards you’ve earned at the same time, or where you can keep clicking at the bottom of the screen to go to the next card pack. Ruined the fun
With each update, you ruin the fun of this game. First, you eliminated the opportunity to earn gems by replacing popped bubbles with coins which can only be used to style characters and not for anything else. Then, your reward for styling said characters is more coins. After that, you made the orders more difficult to fill and created so many bubbles that it makes the game annoying. I’ve played a bunch of games like this and tbh this one is adequately fun but there are other games with the same theme that are more playable. The ads really kill this game. If you’re looking to play this game for more than 3 minutes without seeing an ad… this is not the game for you. Some times the ads come even faster. Love the game play, but for a game that has as many downloads as this, ads shouldn’t be necessary. Would like to see the option to complete all task items on one click for the characters. I’d like to preface my review by saying upfront that I’ve earned $70 the past month, playing this game through an affiliate link with the Benjamin app. I’m on my way to earning well over $100+ if I keep up my current pace. That is the only reason I care about this game at all.

The game is mediocre. There are tons of games like this, but the amount of ads in this one is intrusive. Not to mention, you will be surprised with an ad with absolutely no payoff for it. I like this game, but it’s almost becoming unplayable because of the ads. First, you have to constantly watch ads in order to keep playing. Although they’re optional, if you don’t watch them then you will run out of energy fast. Those ads are annoying, but they do give you items for watching them. I’ve been playing this game for a while and I love it — I play daily on both my iPhone and iPad under the same Facebook-linked account. The game is super fun and relaxing, and I’ve even made in-game purchases to support it.

I don’t know what happened, there must have been an update in the game, but it’s a lot less fun to play now. Before, when you would click on the icons that produced the items, as long as you didn’t click them too many times in a short period of time, they wouldn’t have to stop to recharge. Now it’s like each icon only has a certain number of clicks before it recharges, even if you move to a different icon. I’ve been enjoying the game for several months & I don’t even mind the ads mostly (except you could at least give us a few seconds warning before a random one starts). Once you ran out of energy to spawn items, you could sit through a 30 second ad & get 20 more energy. Now all of a sudden today, I only get TEN! What the heck?! Too many ads. I know you gotta make money but I am getting hit with ads every two minutes and I'm getting more ads than gameplay. Then you have watching ads to get more energy, pop certain bubbles, be able to tap certain things to get more items to match. Just too many ads and paying 5.99 plus tax to get rid of them is just insane. Your app is more ad than game.
Also, making things require more matching with no actual boosts to what you get to match, meaning matching takes even longer...is not a level progression or difficulty, it just means at some point all you're actually doing is watching

I’ve been playing the game for about a year. I’m on level 52 and episode 18 and though the makeovers don’t cost as much coins the new improvements make the game harder. I can’t even get through the side challenges like I use to. There is no real story choice. Simply match make coins and chose from 3 options for each make over. The ads make it seem like there’s a story line but nope. I didn’t mind it at first but considering it’s harder to make some matches the game is a lot more boring. I have played this game for years. I used to play multiple times a day. When the updates first started rolling in I was confused, but okay with it. But now with the most recent update? The game is unplayable. I have been stuck on the same items for DAYS! The axe now splits things into 2 instead of 3, so there’s no point in using that anymore. The bubbles are CONSTANT and annoying. The rewards are not worth it.

Please undo the new update. It is so bad and I hate it. Why are all the objects that are being requested by customers so high up to get and you have to get a couple of hard o hefts to complete one order. I wanted to like it, but I just don’t get it. You click on items that produce similar items. When you match those items you get stuff I guess. When you sell enough of your items, you give characters makeovers. I had two necklaces that had crowns on them. I couldn’t merge them together. Apparently, I had “maxed them out”? I was able to put them in a little wardrobe at the bottom of the screen, but for what? Eventually, it just became a game of clicking and matching until I got to pick out a shirt or shoes for a character. Click the gym bag, match some dumbbells. How many times can you do that?

Not like other merge games
I’ve played other types of merge games and this is one is fun but definitely frustrating. Other games I’ve played, when the spawning items (I.e the gym bag, the makeup bag,etc) level up they offer higher leveled spawned pieces (higher merged items). This one offers the same unmerged pieces (give or take a couple of merges) which makes it nearly impossible to merge the pieces as much as you need to before running out of energy. Can’t even get past the tutorial…
There is nothing more irritating than playing a game that tries hand hold you through it’s tutorial. But never have I encountered one nearly as irritating as this one. It even forces you to merge things you don’t want to, and break merges, and take actions you may not want to take. It would be one thing if it allowed you to opt out of the tutorial, or if it was a brief tutorial. But it lasts far too long and doesn’t seem to end.
As such, instead of being a fun little relaxing game, it actually made me more stressed. I ended up deleting it before I was even done with the tutorial.

I love this app for the simple fact that the games are fun, challenging, and relaxing. To enjoy playing this game you need to watch ads. I watch so many ads I should just be exempt from pop up ads at this point. The ads are extremely low quality and the games they advertise are even worse quality. I’m in the same boat as many other reviewers, I’ve played daily for almost a year but this new update is so frustrating. The interface for everything is so small -especially the inventory. The colors of the redesigned merge items and board really do blend together, it isn’t as clear as the previous one.
