Description

Isle of Arrows is a Puzzle Tower Defense game in which you build a fortress in the sky. Place towers, expand the isle, and build your own paths. Can you find the perfect spot for each tile to beat the RNG and defend against waves of invaders? * Tile-Placement meets Tower Defense: Isle of Arrows is a unique blend of genres that adds a new strategic puzzle element to the Tower Defense formula. * Roguelike structure: Each run is randomly generated with different tiles, enemies, rewards and events. Playing through campaigns unlocks more elements to appear in the game. * Modes & modifiers: A variety of game modes, guilds, game modifiers, and challenges make each playthrough unique. Gameplay Each round, you get to place a tile on the isle for free. Spending coins allows you to skip to the next tile immediately. When you're ready, call the next enemy wave and watch your placed defenses in action. There are 50+ tiles in Isle of Arrows: Towers attack the invaders. Roads extend the path the enemies walk on. Flags grow the isle, giving you more space to build. Gardens reward you with coins. Taverns boost all adjacent archery towers. And so on. Features * 3 game Modes: Campaign, Gauntlet, Daily Defense * 3 themed campaigns that each have their own unique set of tiles * 70+ tiles * 75+ bonus cards * 10+ events that can help or hinder you Please note that Isle of Arrows does not offer cloud save functionality for the time being.

One of the best
This game is a quintessential TD, meaning this is one of those TD’s that is in a league of its own. Smooth, slick art style, simple form and presentation and gameplay that is well balanced. The randomness of the tiles you get is what makes the game more of a pure experience, creating the path the enemy takes while also getting random towers, no two games are the same and it causes you to think on your feet in real time, not just reacting to a set amount of enemies flowing in wave after wave. It’s that mechanic that makes the play more organic and less cookie cutter. Can’t remember what I paid

Great game, nice aesthetics, entertaining, challenging, fun to learn One small problem, the daily defense with the leaderboard is a lot of fun, but you can close the app and get a second chance at the most recent wave you were on, I’m not sure, but it feels like the people in the top of the leaderboard are manipulating this bug basically every wave, I simply can’t believe they are getting those scores playing the game as it was intended, would be nice to see this fixed, if you close the app without saving you should lose your run, plain and simple.

Great game, but no iCloud saving is a long-term deal breaker
I really enjoyed the game, it really draws you in, but the biggest issue is that there is no iCloud saving functionality…at all!!! I understand that the description warns about this, and I guess starting a game on one device and continuing on another is feature that might be hard to implement, but it should at least keep track of Guild unlocks between devices! Nice to see it is still being developed and worked on, hopefully unlock progress will have iCloud sync eventually…

I’m not an avid tower defence seeker but I do enjoy a good one. This one is next level. Strategy, logistics, planning… and nothing repetitive about it. I get that some may be hesitant to buy a game without ever playing it, but just look up the title and find some gameplay vids and I’m sure you’ll see that this game is in a realm of its own as far as tower defence games go. I just spent the past 2-3 hours playing the first few available sections and I from the looks of it there’s a crapload more to unlock. An amazing tower defence game created by the guy behind Lara Croft Go and Hitman Go. Smart, full of surprises and a lot of content.
