Great product. Lackluster app
Why didn't they make it carplay compatible. They know it's illegal and unsafe to play with your phone while driving. No one wants to add a non stock screen nowadays. Ive got a beautiful 12" screen on my head unit. Let me use it to control the app!!! Epic fail.

App missing key features
The app works, sometimes. It’s a 50/50 chance that the layout and settings will be restored. Sometimes the settings for gauge 2 will restore to gauge 1. The app does not keep separate backups for each gauge. Not all settings are backed up. Like alerts and shift light and others. Every time I do an update I have to set up everything again. It’s a PITA. You cannot attach to one gauge and then attach to the second gauge without exiting the app and relaunching. There should be a way to connect without exiting. Since Gale is known for the quality of his products I’m surprised he let this app

Works in principle. But it’s a car focused app - make it work on CarPlay. Also, it doesn’t automatically connect when you pull up the app. Lame, and more fiddling around while driving. I suppose both are to upsell to the iDash ….

Works fine once!
I have to restart my iPhone 13 + pro every time after shutting down the car & restarting it. In Oder for the app to work once again! It still works with the last setting (thank goodness) but having to restart my phone every restart is not good. Other than that, I’m pleased with it.

Excellent App with 1 downfall
Excellent App to run my Pedal Monster. All of the info needed is there to run it and it works perfectly. The only downfall I see is that it’s a bit of a battery drain, even when not in use. It’s coming up in my settings as using 10-11% of my iPhone battery, even when not using. If that could be knocked down a little that would be great. It’s definitely not a deal breaker because the app works seamlessly. Also, not sure it can be done or if it could, but to be able to use via CarPlay would be great. Thank you

I just got my badges in to day They came fedx. And it took two days. 💯man this two badges are the top grade of any badge out there on the market. Mr. Gale spared no expense making these badges. Works as it should.
The app works as it should. When I got the Pedal Monster it was probably a matter of minutes to install and get it up and running, hardest part was finding something small enough to press the pair button on the back of the unit to get the app to find it lol… One thing I wish the app had was an “ECO” mode to make the throttle less responsive and potentially save gas for those that daily our cars and want to have fun on the weekends. I “could” just use the Stock setting and try and feather the throttle, but the problem is my foot is still made of lead. It would also be a great option to have for

Best throttle controller on the market
Have had two other brands and one of them, Pedal Commander, put my car in limp mode twice. Knowing Banks has the built in safety of using the OBD port gives me peace of mind. Also like the reverse safety and that I can tuck it away because it’s controlled via the app. Setup is very easy as is the pairing and calibration process. Highly recommended over the other brands.
