Works but not the best.
It does work pretty well for most raids and I like how you can chat with the other people but it feels like there is just too many ads and pop-ups. I don’t like how it limits what raids you can do based on if you’re a member or not. (This one’s just a minor complaint) Trying to get tickets for the lucky draw is tedious because it makes you wait like 30 seconds to find an ad. There are just other apps that let you raid easier but this one does get the job done.

I have only had it for a few days and had great success. I have had a slight problem with not getting invites from hosts but PokeRaid has been very understanding and refunded me (for auto join) every time. PokeRaid has made playing Pokemon Go a lot more enjoyable.

Loved the app and used it so much for the past year, then the Pokémon Go Fest comes out and now I HAVE to pay to be able to even raid?? Weird they claim it’s because of costs but never charged like this for all the other raids. Literally raiding primal groudon 3 months ago with the app and now you have to pay $14 a month or $100 a year to raid the exact same thing. Ridiculous, I’m disgusted by the greed that has taken over this company.

This is a great app to connect with other players and to catch Pokémon you normally wouldn’t be able to catch unless you have an entire team of friends readily available 20/7. This app can really help you complete the Pokédex but it has one major flaw… the notifications. I used this app for every raid I did, and living in a town where almost no one else plays, it was amazing to get Pokémon like pallia and mega Latias during which, every time I made a room the minimum player level in the room was 38. I was confused so I looked it up, and player support told me that because mega latias was very powerful, it didn’t was lower level players joining. Full of ads and auto join bots. Daily coins weekly expire this defeating the purpose of collecting them daily. The ads make it near impassible to use now. Toss in auto join bots for popular ones and no one can raid. Players only host 5 star raids and rarely anything else. Even verified raids are not always what they claim to be. Too many players fail to understand raid mechanics and bomb a raid fast. The 8 star raids need more than 6 and players do not understand that. Annoying cash grab full of ads
I got this app to try and collect some regional pokemon from different parts of the world. The first thing you notice is most raids fill up INSTANTLY. Or they say they have room, and then as soon as you touch on them they said they’re full. The only way to get into a raid is through “auto join” which you have to use their in app currency to activate. To get said currency, you have to spend days doing mundane tasks to get enough for even one raid. That, or, give them real money of course. Needs better ban system
The app itself is really good. Great concept, however there is a huge problem with people joining raids and leaving at the last second wasting peoples raid passes. For people starting raids in more rural areas this leads to people joining a raid with a stacked team, then half of the players leaving. Wasting everyone’s passes. If there was a better system for banning these players people would be more willing to pay this app to join. Super redundant to pay to buy a remote raid. Then pay this app to guarantee a slot in a raid only for some users to just up and leave once the raid starts.

Slow Notification
Works well for most of what it does. Best aspect is that you can interact with the other trainers in the raid. Biggest problem is that, unlike other raid apps, you have to keep it as the active app if you’re waiting for auto join. It only recently added a notification when you’re added to a raid, and they still haven’t quite gotten it. It only notifies you that you’ve bee placed so late that you’ve missed your turn (it notifies you of that in a timely manner). Otherwise it’s okay, but having to stay I. The app and don nothing else at all on your multitasking device is a bit backward.

This app has been extremely helpful. How ever I do have some complaints. Every time I try to create a raid room I have to take like 5 robot test minimum. It can get extremely annoying especially when there is a event happening in Pokémon Go. Ex I wanted to do Primal raids during the Safari event but I would create a raid room do the robot test and the room would be created. But overall it’s a very helpful app.

Ok so I suddenly get a notification that there are new raids ( kyurem and mega gengar) so I push auto joins so I can get one and when I get to the top it says raid not available.😳 then I go to the coins part and it took them out of my account. Don’t trust them. And that’s not the only thing, now you have to pay 10 dollars a month to join raids early like just let us raid, that’s what this app is for isn’t it?

This game is absolutely amazing as you’re able to join anywhere across the world. I have friends in Japan and I live in the USA all because of this app so that’s pretty awesome. Downloaded this because the old app I used was taken off the App Store. However I have not been able to get into a single raid because by the time you get into it the entire lobby has been auto joined. And I'm not paying more money for some stupid auto join, the other apps I've used have never taken a route such as this. It's horrible. PokeRaid is very helpful for raids, but sometimes people will not invite enough people and start the raid, resulting in me losing two dollars. I really wish raid prices weren’t that expensive, but money is tight right now. I just wish people wouldn’t invite you to a raid then leave to waste your raid pass, it’s pretty stupid. I’ve done multiple remote raids today, this app makes it very easy to Connect with people and join raids. It does have some annoying pop ups but It’s worth it for being able to take down strong Pokémon from my own home.

Going downhill
I used to love the PokeRaid app. I downloaded it and was able to do remote raids with the community from all over the world. Even when exclusive Pokemon came out for go fests in other cities, I would look forward to a long queue just to at least get a chance at it. It was fun! Now, they decided to create this expensive subscription service, where they “pay” people to host these exclusive raids. So, most of us can’t do the raids, even if a non-PokeRaid player hosts an exclusive. I know they want to make money, but it’s no longer fun watching premium subscribers get to do the fun raids.

Good app sucky changes
I use to love this app even would buy coins so I could do more auto joins and scheduled pokemon battles. But as all good things start to see the corruption of money so did this app by trying to ask a monthly fee for certian pokemon and not a like 1.99 or anything $10 a month or $100 a year. I enjoy the way the app works but I will no longer put money into the greed of the owners. So I will still use it just not buy anymore coins.

Good app, but opportunistic for your money
To be clear, I have never had a problem with this app and use it faithfully…until now. It’s designed so the most rarest or sought out Pokémon only acquirable through them if you become a member and or buy coins from them, It was fine at first until they actually started restricting Pokémon to only members because it was “limited by region”. But there’s always limited Pokémon per regions (northern hemisphere vs southern for instance, world events in other cities, etc…and they never have the membership requirement. Multiple Failed Scheduled Raids
This app does nothing to protect users who are trying to use the app from those who are abusive of it. I used the scheduled raid feature multiple times. The first time the person created a raid room then said “sorry I’m too far away” and I lost all the coins I’d put to it. The second time I scheduled, never got put in a raid, lost those coins because they removed all effective reporting methods. I’ve used this app for a while (over a year) and have seen it’s steady decline. At one point it was good. And now, not so much.

The only reason I deducted 1 * is due to the coin rewards’ ad…
For some gosh-darned reason, the option to watch an ad to get more coins? We’ll, it just about neeeever works. I can only watch the ad about 15-10% of the time that I try to get the coins. And I know it’s not my service because I’ll either be on WiFi, or 5G. So, totally unsure of what’s goin’ on there.

Campfire killed PokeRaid
I was someone who used to host a lot of raids here with no problems. Since niantic released the campfire app to find raids within the game, this app has been unusable. Not enough people will join the raids now, 1-2 people sitting in 10 different rooms instead of forcing people into one room at a time so at least someone could do a raid. queuing time is longer because of this and people back out or don’t join the raid when it starts leaving my host rating to go from 5 stars to 4.5 in a matter of days. I don’t think booking needs it’s own slot. Booking could be lumped in with rooms. And the best
