Clubhouse updates have broken accessibility and user experience
Clubhouse was one of the best and most inclusive social audio platforms. The interface was clean, accessible, and worked perfectly with screen readers. But since the updates after 2021, the experience has become extremely poor — and the latest versions are the worst so far. Serious issues in current updates: • Accessibility is almost broken: screen readers cannot correctly read rooms, friends’ names, or navigation options. Creating and managing rooms has become unnecessarily difficult. • The app now automatically pushes users into rooms without letting them choose which room to join — this

This is the worst app.
This is the worse app that promotes racism, religion bias and bullying and hatred. I have seen people open chat rooms with targeting specific religion and activities. I reported once but instead they suspended my account for reporting bad activities. Do not use this app or else your mental health will get affected. The creators of this app has no security in place to detect wrong accounts of behaviour. All they care about is people downloading n using the app so that they earn money.

Nice idea but execution is worst
Everything converted to chat thread I can’t join live rooms hold the mic for 30 sec it’s a good idea but should be in live room if someone mic is on for 30 seconds others can unmute their mic and not allowing consecutive unmute mic like 3 times at a time is good every time a conversation is going on someone will come and interrupt the whole discussion and derail the topic but the update is very cumbersome

A person with follow count is an indication that people like listening to him and he is more credible. Voice notes could have been added but the existing system should not have been done away with. We may not want to be ‘friends’ with someone but let them ‘follow’ us. Many people spent years gaining followers and out of the blue, the app decides to remove the follower count. Please roll back the followers count unless you want to lose precious users.

The old version of the app already suffered a lot of issues from content discovery to respecting user preferences—for example the “show fewer rooms like this” did nothing since inception. If you tried to say put down some crappy shoot my shot rooms and hope they don’t pop up, it won’t do anything and you’ll continue seeing such rooms. Another example, if you visit a room and then scroll to another and another and then decide to return back to the first, chances are that the hallway is updated and you can no longer find that old room again.
