This release includes a redesign of the mobile Auto ID feature. People will be able to click on each Auto ID and see a standard preview template of the most commonly needed insurance information, including:

Address
Policy Number
Effective Date
Expiration Date
Make
Model
Year
VIN
This preview template will not be the official legal document, but instead will provide a basic set of information that is on the Auto ID titled “Insurance Information Card.” The preview template will note that it is not an official document. If the end-insured then wants to render the official ACORD form, they can click “View Official Card.” This link will render the auto ID in its official, complete form without any unnecessary cropping/sizing issues by opening it in a separate browser window.
The end-insured will still have the ability to share or download the Auto ID. If they choose the “Share” or “Download” buttons, it will share/download the official ACORD form, not the preview template.
Please note that all previously downloaded auto IDs will need to be re-downloaded in this next release.
