Description
Daily Gospel is an application designed to help you practice “Lectio Divina,” a traditional Catholic way of praying with Scripture, through the daily Gospel in a simple and accessible way.
Lectio Divina goes beyond simply reading the Bible. It is a time to listen to God’s Word, reflect on it, respond in prayer, and rest in His presence. For centuries, the Church has encouraged both laypeople and religious to embrace this practice as an important part of their spiritual life.
With this app, you can follow the flow of Lectio Divina—reading, meditation, prayer, and contemplation—based on the daily Gospel. You can choose a verse that stays with you, write down your reflections, and revisit your journey of faith over time.
Through Daily Gospel, listen to the Word God is speaking to you now, and live your day with it.
*This app is currently in beta and under active development. We will continue to improve it to provide a deeper and more peaceful experience.*
