La nueva "Traducción en lenguaje actual" (biblia lenguaje actual actualizada) ha sido realizada directamente de los idiomas bíblicos (hebreo, arameo y griego), no es una adaptación o paráfrasis de ninguna versión castellana existente.
Se ha traduccion de tal manera que su mensaje sea equivalente al del texto original, pero de modo que pueda leerse en voz alta con fluidez, y que pueda escucharse sin problemas de comprensión.
