From the pov of a solo artist
Personally I genuinely enjoy how easy this app is to use. I have a lot of fun when I design my work. Though not known anywhere, I still firmly believe this is a great service for getting digital work into physical form. As someone who doesn’t have the resources or money or time to spend on physically painting (thought I wish I could). Printful has given me a chance to see my digital artwork in person. Pricing.
I use this a lot. Very happy with the outcome of some things. We need to have some good quality fight wear. There should also be a better discount for subscribers. It helps but we need a little more. There is the money still being brought to the table plus more with paying the subscription. We need more of a discount on price.
Some of my stuff recently has been shipped with wrong sizes and bad distorted images.

I’d like more freedom to style and design pieces. The limited technology used doesn’t allow for creativity at its freest and fullest. Sample pieces should be free for any first time design just once or 50% + off but it’s not really helpful to not be able to afford samples of creations to get to work on the project deeper. Lastly there aren’t enough options to really set your brand apart, it’s mostly generic tops and bottoms and a bunch of random accessories. It’s good dont get me wrong but there’s so many different styles out there, it would really help to have access to all there is to offer.

Wish there were more options for printing
We have not been a fan of the overall printing items.
We also would love to see more advanced print options and trending colors and designs. Right now camo is popular, but we don’t see many options for it or have to do all over print. We feel very limited in what we can design due to the quality of overall printing items. We would love to be able to print anywhere on regular sweatshirts, hoodies and leggings without the white seams showing.
The overall print sweatshirt material is a bit weird and cheap feeling.

I’m sad to report and say, that this app is failing to do the job it was designed for. The interface is glitchy, and malfunctions during designing. I have lost patience and templates because, the app doesn’t save the template and when it decides to crash, it doesn’t indicate that the application has crashed until your finished with the product, or trying to swap design locations like inside label area…

Glitchy
I use Printful through my Shopify account and while it’s use a good app to use it it’s also very frustrating. I have had to crest the same item over and over because it won’t sync and the options through the stand alone app and the version through Shopify are different I can’t select multiple colors options for a given item through the stand alone app. As of right now it’s a love hate relationship

However, as with any business they have a few qc issues to address which I believe they try to do. Overall product quantity is pretty good. Apparel quality is industry standard(e.g. Gildan). Print quality is good. Would totally recommend. There are better boutique printers but for the system those of us utilize, these guys are great.

Great app/site with excellent service
I tried Printful for the first time and I was very excited and impressed with the quality of one of the products that I bought. It was everything I was hoping/aiming for. I bought a second product (hoodie) and because of my inexperience and design placement the product didn’t come back the way that I wanted. I submitted a refund/redesign and to much of my surprise, I got the refund. This is an excellent place for various projects and the team they have working there are really great and amazing people. I am definitely a happy customer.

I wouldn’t be able to do this with a local print shop
It’s nice that the print on demand company can print a shirt when it’s ordered. I’m starting this clothing company with 300$. Once a shirt is ordered, they print it. A local shop needs a bulk order. The only downside is that the shirts get printed in Mexico and sometimes the site glitches and all my work I did to publish an item, is lost and I need to do the publishing task over. Other than that this is so convenient. They have cool products to print your designs on and it’s easy to use. I’m a dumb tin knocker by day.
