Word Therapy

I just finished this game after months of playing it daily. I was astounded at how many levels it has: 3000 individual puzzles. For $1.99 you can disable ads which has got to be one of the best values in the puzzle game genre. Be warned, though, it will occasionally make use of truly esoteric words in the later levels.

Today’s puzzle had at least 2 words that sounded like a foreign language, instead of English, to me. I’m not a dummy (I have two college degrees, for Pete’s sake!), so I resent having to buy several clues to solve a word!

Love this game but we need more levels. When is that going to happen?

I love this word game. Most have way too many bonus words, but this has the fewest I’ve seen so far, so most of the words you get are actually counted. The music is nice and relaxing, so it’s a nice game to play before going to sleep. So why only two stars? Because the hints cost 100 coins for one hint. You can purchase more, for example, $2.99 for 800 coins. Sounds like a lot of coins, right? But it’s only 8 hints. That’s just a bit unreasonable. Otherwise it’s a really nice word game.

I contacted the makers of this game asking if there’s a way to change the background color. I never received a response. I contacted them again telling them the connecting line color is very difficult to see on the background color. Again no response!

Woman in your ads? This serves no purpose except to annoy YOUR customers. Get your ads at age appropriate levels. Your game is pretty good. Your ads need better monitoring. They are not age appropriate. Thanks

Up until this point, I have really enjoyed this game. However, now that you can no longer see the connections to the words you are making, it’s no longer enjoyable.

The app isn’t updating when I finish the same level. And it is the same level. Please squash the bugs!

Paid the 1.99 for ad free game but still getting ads

Love the game but hate how cheap they are with earning points for hints. 8 points - really?! Start at at least 20 points.

Addictive and fun game. So many levels it will take years to complete. The “but”, between each game you have to listen/watch 30-55 seconds of commercials, sometimes games which are loud, investment ideas and other junk. There is no way to disable the sound other than turn off the phone sounds completely. If I pay for something-I shouldn’t see more commercial, some of which are for Word Therapy.

I love this game. However, somehow the game screen has been minimized to about 2 x 3 rectangle in the top left hand corner. I don’t want to delete and reload and lose my score. Help!

This is( or was) the best word game you offer, until they stopped crediting coins for right answers, and made the puzzles easier!

Absolutely love this game. However I am about to uninstall it and find another word game due to Joe Biden popping up begging for money. No place for politics!!

They use words that we don’t even use anymore AND, words that aren’t even in the dictionary. I was an English teacher at one point in my life and haven’t heard of a great portion of the words they slam you with. The word I had today was “rani”. It’s an Indian word. Why are we not using English? It’s Hindi meaning the wife of a rajah. How the hell would an English speaking person know that? I’m done, deleted.

I have a cognitive brain injury and it is great therapy to unwrap the cobwebs.

I was obsessed with playing word therapy but came to the end of the game. Now I am lost. Will it be expanded soon?

Enjoying playing this game and there are good ads within it for earning extra coins for clues to the game!!

I had brain surgery a few years ago, and I wish I would have known about this for brain re-train!!

The game itself is fine, but I can’t play games with political ads.

Great game. Really gets the brain working. Fun. Definitely improves one’s ability to formulate word patterns. The only minor complaint is that I have reached the end of the game but the last puzzle never ends. I have completed the level but it never indicates GAME OVER. I keep getting a reminder of a word I haven’t tried yet and when I go back to the game, it takes me back to the open grid.

Fun

I’m only at the Purity level, so I’m early into this game. However, my screen goes black after completing a level. So I have to close the game and reopen if I want to play the next puzzle. And clicking the link for “App Support” sends me to a website that asks me to “try Desk.com free for 14 days”. REALLY? I have to sign up for a service just to get assistance? And if I have problems after the 14 day trial period, I will have to PAY for support? Ridiculous.
