Could Have Been a Good Mobile Game
Downloaded the game not thinking much about the fact that the game has a in-game purchase to get rid of ads because that’s standard for mobile games. Game was fine, peaceful, and a good time-killer. Little did I know, the developer basically harasses you into feeling forced to pay to get rid of ads. I played for fifty hits and in forty five of those hits the game basically tried to trap me into being forced to watch an ad one way or another. This COULD be a fun game to pass the time playing, but unfortunately the ads every two hits (and sometimes after EACH HIT) make this a hard pass for me. Before I get started let me note baseball boy isn’t just a game to me it’s life. Before I started playing baseball boy I had never touched a baseball before. I would spend all day and night grinding on baseball boy even skipping school so I could keep playing. Good game with one big issue
Ok so I have been playing this game for almost a week now, and it had been a really fun time killer. It is super easy and doesn’t require a ton of grinding to get good at the game. Although this game is great and does a good job at minimizing ads, there is one issue that occurs when you get a perfect timing on the hit. I don’t know if it just randomly happens, but sometimes when it is going really fast and straight, almost in a line, it will smash into the ground and go super high into the air, most of the time sending the ball backwards. One Problem.
This will be a short review. I love this game, its very straight forward, the upgrades are cool, and the customization its very nice as well. But the ONE PROBLEM I have with the game is I'm pretty sure is a glitch. So, when you hit the ball, and it bounces on the floor, you get a chance to click the screen and make it bounce a few more times. First off, I do want to say that this game definitely has some potential. It’s a fun little time killer when I’m bored in a waiting room or at a restaurant and don’t want to get involved with a long game. However, there are some issues that should be addressed. I love games like this so when I saw the ad I clicked immediately. My problem with this and those rag doll games and basically any phone game of today is the ads. Too Buggy and Too Many Ads
I originally had this game a couple of years back, but I decided to re-download it recently last week. While I do love the simplistic design of the game, it’s definitely starting to show its cracks. One of the main things is the bugginess. Literally I can’t go one run without my ball hitting some invisible barrier when the terrain changes, and it ends up causing my ball to bounce back thousands of feet. Amazing game
I’ve loved this game since I was a kid and revisiting it now it’s still fun to play when bored. One of my favorite parts are the upgrades like bounce that can help you get farther, without being too good or terrible like many other games do. Of course though, every game has its flaws, and this one is no exception, like how sometimes when switching between environments there is a small lip in between that you get caught on, which can set you back pretty far if going full speed. The concept of the game is pretty good and it requires you to hit balls really far and upgrade your stats so you can, but there is a ton of bugs. 1. I used to play this game all the time a couple years ago and back then it was perfect, it ran smooth and the fact you can play on airplane mode and have no ads is a definite bonus. And the upgrade system is so easy to gain a lot of money once you start hitting the ball higher and farther grabbing coins and diamonds in the air upon the hit. Flawed but redeemable
This game has been around for awhile. Played it many years ago for the first time and thought it was fun! It's straightforward, fun, and, unlike most free games, isn't plagued by ad videos interrupting your gameplay. Those are the redeemable qualities for this game. Honestly this game is pretty fun, considering that I haven’t played it that much yet, when I do get the time to play I usually play for ten minutes and the reason for that is because when I’m trying to get a new level every single time I usually hit absolutely nothing and bounces me back like 1k meters and that’s what gets me ticked off and I keep on trying but every time I hit like a building or a lamppost or something and I lose meters the point if the game is to hit the ball as far as you can but it seems that the developers don’t want that to happen the players should hit the ball thinking

I want to start with saying I really enjoy the idea of this game. It’s fun to play when you have some time to kill. However, there are some fatal flaws in the game that make it infuriating to play. The first one being that there are invisible walls or bumps blocking your path all over the map. I really don’t know why, but I have completely maxed this game out. I have every bat unlocked and most of the skins. But this game has so many terrible glitches, the ball will randomly hit NOTHING and bounce backwards making it impossible to ever level up. Fun But Some Issues
For a time waster, I like this game. Simple mechanic, hit ball far, collect coins, upgrade abilities, hit ball farther. Also some fun unlockables like costumes and different balls. My gripes about the game are a lot of ads, hitting invisible walls, and no benefit to getting perfect hits. Ads are self explanatory. I enjoy playing this game and play it often but there are bugs in the game. For example when you hit it into the grassy fields and the ball starts to roll a random invisible wall or something hits it in the other direction. It’s a great game but a few bad things
First of all, I love this game. It’s easy and fun to play, but sometimes it’s not so great. I constantly run into “invisible walls” that make it where it’s almost impossible to level up. These “walls” are usually found right before the next level up. For example right now I’m trying to get past 8000 ft but when I get around that area (7500ft +) it flings my ball back with out hitting any buildings, trees, the river or hills. I used to play this game like two years ago and it was the best free-time game I’ve ever seen. You were able to do everything you can now except one thing. When I played before, after you hit the ball, you were able to click to the side of the screen to move the ball left or right. Before I go on a long explanation of all the things wrong with this game. I want to say that the developers did a good job at minimizing ads(or at least for now - knock on wood), but that is the only thing that is good about this game. This game requires you to spend coins in order to improve your results of hitting, and therefore your level, which improves your stats. Within this continuous cycle, there are three things to purchase that directly “improve” your hits. Great game
Really good game, just a few little flaws. I’ll start with the upsides. It’s super easy to play and learn, and it’s satisfying to level up and see your baseball go further every time you get a new bat or player. However, it can be frustrating. Bouncing mechanics can be very weird and not make much sense, and when you tap the ball to get an extra boost 2 or 3 times it can just send you backwards for no reason. Its cost me a level before, and I had to keep playing for another 30 minutes just to get it again. I definitely recommend this game though, it involves some skill and some luck making it

It’s fun to just mess around on. Like most other games from this dev, they ruin it with the amount of ads so you need to run it in airplane mode in order to enjoy it.
