Great game, just a few issues.
I’ve loved playing this game when I have free time, it’s nice to just sit, relax, and upgrade my city. There are a few things I think could be addressed though, first is the storage. Upgrading money storage is very inconsistent, expensive and takes a longggg time. Second is a glitch I think, I have multiple Mansions with a VIP that should speed up build time, but instead they actually make the timer longer, and moving a building currently under construction to a plot with said VIP makes the build timer start going backwards. That really all I had issues with otherwise it’s a great game 🙂‍↔️

Minor issue
Love the game. Very entertaining and a good game to just come back occasionally throughout the day. My only issue is that the last few times I’ve moved a building from 1 block to another and try to upgrade the building, it just takes the money without upgrading it. It’s happened twice and cost me close to $10,000 before I realize it wasn’t a connection issue. Not a big issue, just don’t upgrade directly after moving. Unfortunate for the money but I still love this game.

I absolutely love this game combining a clicker, city builder, and community aspects of this game is so unique and very fun to play. I’m curious if the developers have ever thought about giving city mayors the option to set a tax which would go into a city fund controlled by the current mayor at the time. This money could then be used for anything that the mayor saw fit. For instance they could put all of the money into the city projects to help boost that or if there was a city really struggling or a new city the mayor could allocate funds in order to help them. Great potential, slows to a halt
Feels and plays like a great game, awesome art style and great interface. However, the main things that made me give it two stars is the paywall that locks a large part of content out, for example, you can’t join two cities unless you pay one of the fees. Additionally, you progress extremely slow, you can only play for a couple minutes a day because of how slow you make money and are unable to do anything but sit and watch your little buildings. Fun way to see how much time has passed with friends
This game is as in depth or simple as you want it to be but it really shines when you play together with friends. Run for mayor and set policies of trade with each other or just watch each other grow. Eventually you advance to mars and build another city there which has been my favorite part. They also host sped up events where everyone competes to have the highest population as fast as possible for actual decent prizes. The devs have been constantly updating and active in their discord so I’m excited to see where else this game goes, hope another planet after mars lol definitely recommend

The downfall of this game is easily the “block upkeep” which means your businesses have to be earning enough money in order to progress forward in the game. Also, the price of purchasing a new block doubles every time - which is absolutely goofy. I gave this game a good chance, which wasted over 2 months of my life. The ability to play with friends is the best part of this game. Anyone who likes the “pocket tycoon” type of games has to try this one out. I’ve never left a review on the app store before, but I really love this game. It’s easy if you are busy with your every day life, you can check in see whats up, upgrade your stuff and leave. Awesome game, slow progression
I’ve been looking for a game like this for so long, and the fact that I can play with my friends is hands down the best feature. So much so that I actually think it’s not utilized to it’s full potential. I have this amazing city with my girlfriend, we’ve been playing for months at this point. Once you reach a certain level and want to upgrade buildings, things really start to slow down. I love the concept of this game, it’s a city builder coopetitiongame. It does progression decently well and policies / the plex market make it interesting to log in often. However it’s sitting on a few strenuous flaws. 1) There's no pvp or way to deal with AFK players that surround you. When you place yourself next to someone who isn’t playing anymore, you’re functionally blocked on one side from ever making progress. 2) Around level 6-8 you literally don’t unlock buildings. For 3 levels in a row buildings are locked behind premium currency or event buildings. So for 2 weeks you’re grinding

It’s almost flawless but they do still have a few things they should do to make it a little bit smoother. For instance when you collect resources it’s kinda hard to notice and it make it easier if there was like a small vibration or something signaling you got them. Okay, here’s the thing. Pixel Plex is a five star game. It’s simple, fun, collaborative, and just mildly infuriating enough to keep you playing. I personally love this game so much. This is one of the most simple, but greatest games I have played in a very long time. When I first got the game, I thought it was just going to be kind of a clash of clans game, but I was in for a big surprise. Tons of fun. In a Fraternity, and most of our In-House guys have downloaded the app and play together. It’s a blast, to work together have mini elections and trade resources. I’m experiencing several technical issues with the game which I’m sure they will fix but there is no way to communicate to the developer that there has been an issue so I will voice that here. When evicting residence from their property, the app doesn’t always actually evict and sometimes will even over fill a housing development. After a day with Pixel Plex I’m updating my review. First - this game is an great concept. It could be an awesome economy sim built around a city builder framework. I love how everyone builds their own blocks, but also contributes to the entire city. The idea that we can vote for mayors and the mayors themselves have the opportunity to change policies within the world we all work in is great. However the game progress is frustratingly slow.
