New and much improved Winds Aloft feature. Data from nearby reporting stations are interpolated to show winds along your route. And with this info, headwind/tailwind calculations came along for free. Finding the best altitude and knowing when to change altitudes on a long flight is much simpler.

More changes from all that feedback we received in Oshkosh and the great email we’ve received. Keep that feedback coming. + We’ve added a Waypoints screen, which includes details on your route waypoints and legs. + We’ve added an Airport Details page. + Radar images overlaid on the map is coming soon, but the app has a Radar Images slideshow in the meantime. + And finally … we’ve removed that pesky crash when you load the maps page before the data has finished loading.

We talked to hundreds of you at AirVenture, and are busy incorporating all that great feedback. This release adds the most requested feature, a map with airports and weather conditions for your flight. We've also added a number of usability improvements - thanks for stopping by our booth and telling us how you prepare for a flight.

+ NavMonster now displays Aviation Forecast Discussions along your route. The Aviation Forecast Discussion (AFD) supplements the TAF, allowing forecasters to explain the “why” of each TAF. Definitely a must-read.

+ NavMonster now displays TFRs along your route There are about 50 active TFRs at any given moment in the US. Do you know if your flight is TFR free? NavMonster does.
