ترجمة الكتاب المقدس للغة العربية
ترجمة الكتاب المقدس إلى العربية تعود لمرحلة متقدمة من المرحلة الجاهليّة حسب الإشارات المعروفة. خلال القرن التاسع عشر والقرن العشرين ظهرت الترجمات الحديثة، بعد اكتشاف سلسلة مخطوطات قديمة وتطور علم الترجمة، ومقابلة الكلمات مع اللغة اليونانية القديمة العامة (باللاتينية: Koine). والقائمين على صياغتها يحاولون الوصول بالمفهوم الإلهي في أدق كلمات معاصرة وفى أحسن صورها الأدبية إلى القارئ مع مراعاة الترجمات الأخرى المألوفة للناس ويحاولون استخدام مفردات لغوية مفهومة من الجميع.
هذه الترجمة، التي نشرتها جمعية الكتاب المقدس في لبنان، ونشرت في عام 1993.
