Feels scammy! I’ve just installed the app on my IPhone and used “continue with Apple ID” to try out the app and the vpn service using their free plan. The first time I tried to activate the vpn service it says “Out of data”. I removed the app right away!

ProVersion funktioniert in China
Die ProVersion funktioniert in China recht gut. Eine erste Verbindung kann etwas dauern, aber dann läuft es stabil. Mittlerweile sind in einigen Städten die Mobilfunknetz stark ausgelastet, so das nicht jede lahme Verbindung auf den VPN Client zurückgeführt werden kann. Ich bin zufriede, kann mir die ProVersion in den Monaten freischalten, in den ich sie benötige.

Beim Neustarten des Iphones funktionierts immer erstmal nicht. Ich muss den VPN erst aus- und dann wieder einschalten. Was hat es dann für einen Sinn wenn ich durchgehend anonym surfen will? Der Kundendienst geht auf das Problem nicht ein und bietet keine Lösung an. Immer häufiger stürzt die Verbindung komplett ab. Egal welches Protokoll, egal welches Land. Netflix erkennt ab und zu auch, dass ein VPN geschaltet wird. Mein parallel laufender Ad Blocker kann beim betrieb nicht genutzt werden und so habe ich weiterhin nervige Werbung auf Websites und Videostreamdiensten.
