Explore human anatomy in interactive 3D with Visible Body! Human Anatomy Atlas is a one-time purchase that gives you access to essential gross anatomy 3D models and select microanatomy models and animations on your iOS devices. Additional in-app purchases are available for physiology animations and dental content. With Human Anatomy Atlas, you get: * Full female and male 3D models to study gross anatomy. View these alongside cadaver and diagnostic images. * 3D views of key organs at multiple levels. Study the lungs, bronchi, and alveoli; Review the kidneys, renal pyramids, and nephrons. * Muscle and bone models that you can move. Learn muscle actions, bone landmarks, attachments, innervations, and blood supply. * Fascia models to see how it divides the muscles of the upper and lower limbs into compartments. You also get a variety of study and presentation tools: * Dissect models on screen, in augmented reality (AR), and in cross-sections. Not great. The controls are very frustrating. Not clear how to unhide things once you’ve hidden them. You have to start all over. Also, how about adding exercises to the musculoskeletal system? Not impressed with the app.

Few parts can be improved, rotation should focus on the selected muscle/bone, muscles color is not as good as essential anatomy 5, a bit difficult to distinguish adjacent muscles. Bad parts: I purchased the 79.99 bundle only to find out the functions are overlapping, not a good decision. This app itself is good

I purchased this app for $24 only to discover it keeps further charging in app purchases for basic functions! Like now they want another $30 to see joint animations for example. Waste of my time and money. Just say up front this will be $500 so I can make an informed decision!

Wouldn’t buy beyond basic understanding
In- app purchases are a lot after already paying $25 for the app. I figured with that cost they wouldn’t require more payments to access most of the content. I’m learning muscle anatomy and it would help so much to see an animation of the muscles, not just where they are on the body. But that’s an additional $25 on top of the $25 I already paid. I wouldn’t buy it again if I knew this as it doesn’t provide much more than an overall view of where things are located.

Terrible app and services
The apps are very hard to use! I purchased this together with the muscle and kinesiology app. But both apps are very similar in content and functions. Terrible visualization, super difficult to navigate. I can’t try the app before purchasing it and then I realize it was difficult to use compare to other apps! I requested my refund right after trying it for two minutes but none of that is approved. I just lost 60 bucks on the terrible apps (atlas and muscle app).

Amazing Anatomy app!
I have used this app to better educate myself before an appointment with my Orthopaedic Surgeon, then launched it for him to better understand the ankle surgery I was to get. It blew him away, and he asked for the name of the app so he could us it himself! I only wish I’d had it when studying the anatomy of the throat. I will definitely rely on this when I do my masters in Speech Pathology! Excellent app, with regular updates. I love how more advanced content is purchasable with different specialties: I can pick and choose what I need.
