In this beautiful app you can explore and remix the music of Puffin Rock through creative play, and share your masterpieces too.
Experience the gorgeous music from the show, played by the Ulster Orchestra, and beautiful Puffin Rock animation. Through subtle movements, children can arrange their own Puffin Rock themes. Move a character onto a platform and hear their special music play, or tap a mushroom to bring in some percussion.
Oona, Baba, Mossy, May and Otto are the band of players in your very own Puffin Rock ensemble, and they sing along too!

Simple but brilliant app for Puffin Rock lovers
I’m baffled by the negative reviews for this app. It’s a simple app in terms of features, yes, but it’s still very well designed and perfect for 2-4 year olds that love Puffin Rock and have a strong aptitude for music. The app’s product description accurately describes it - within each of the two scenes, you can create a myriad of sound combinations by moving the 5 characters (as well as tapping on 4 mushrooms or 4 shells) to create a custom version of the song. Downloaded after watching on Netflix. There are only two musicical environments, but all the animations and audio is authentic to the style of the show. Great app for any kids who are a fan of the show. No updates for a couple years - hope there’s a chance with the series streaming online.

Works in iOS 13 on iPhone XR
This works on iOS 13 on my iPhone XR just fine, and is an amusing little thing. However, it’s exceptionally limited in that it only has two scenes to select from. From a UX perspective it could also use a little work as it takes about ten seconds to switch between the two different scenes, which is a little excessive.

This is the seed for a great little game, and my toddler certainly likes playing with it, but finds it a little frustrating to interact with. The character movements are great and the music is adorable. But so far it is pretty limited, with only two locations and choices of music, not very many ways to have the character voices in the music (currently basically only one at a time based on where they are standing), and there is also very limited ability of the characters to interact with the scene. Disappointing
I wish I'd read the other reviews. Sound works for me, but there is so little to this app. The show is so educational and engrossing. This lets you open and close 4 clams that make music, and place the characters on rocks so they sing. No educational value about nature, science, friendship, or even music. My son and I were so excited to play it, but done about 5 minutes later.
With such wonderful art and source material, I can't help but feel that this was a simple cash grab.

Hyper cute
As cute as the show, well animated, and the mixing is surprisingly good. I'm missing some of the excellent Puffin Rock themes, though, and I hope they make it into the app in a future update.
I'd also like waveforms for the different parts visualized, but that's probably a lot to ask for.
I have no children. My wife and I just love puffins.
