So Promising!!
I really tho it this app would be fun! It looked great it looked professional. I loved the fact that I could map out my characters and stuff, it isn’t like this at all. Sure you can map out your stuff but it is very low quality and overall I would not recommend this app to any aspiring authors get google docs or something.

Laughably horrible
The user interface shown in the pictures is NOTHING like the actual app. The app is horribly formatted and cheap with everything spelled wrong and instructions almost unintelligible. Opening line on the UI screen is “you have not writed anything yet. Press add button to start.” (There is not add button— and yes the writed typo was actually a thing…) You cannot even do the majority of the things that are promised in the app description. Pretty much a scam.

Upgrade does not work
I was using this app for about a week and decided I wanted to upgrade from the free version, paid for it but my account never updated. I kept getting promoted to upgrade and eventually just clicked on the upgrade button again to which I was then prompted that i already had the professional version. I emailed the customer support email proved, no response, then I just couldn’t log into my account. Still no response from customer support email, I now have an open dispute to reverse the charge.

Great concept- poor execution
Made an account to see the features. I was so excited… go to add a profile picture, and the app crashes and it logged me out… I go to log back in and I keep getting a message popping up in what I assume is Mandarin? Which I don’t understand and can’t copy to translate it. Thought I fixed the problem, but then it was constant loading with nothing happening… really disappointed, it looked like everything I needed in an app. Hoping to get an update when the bugs are fixed

Best book writing app I found. I liked it enough I bought the professional version. It is constantly improving. I never write reviews but the wonderful customer service I received today had to be shared. I was having problems logging in. I emailed them. They answered me very politely and were looking into the problem within a half hour and the problem was solved in less than an hour!

I enter the app and I had this odd white box pop up. 2 minutes later, when it was STILL white, I clicked on the x. Then it had me on this screen that had 4 real books when suddenly, there was a flash, and the books disappeared leaving behind something that said I have ‘maked’ no books. It literally said that. I tried to get to where I make a book, and it said to sign up. I put my email and password in, but the same flash happened and it told me to enter my Facebook account and sign up through Facebook. Doesn’t look like what was offered
I don’t know if I’m just using it wrong or what, but I opened this app and registered and can’t figure out how to add a new writing project. All I can access is other users’ profiles. I tried the “help” section and a dialogue box popped up asking for a category, title, subtitle, and picture. I’m completely confused. Where are the features that are described when considering using the app, like the outlining, character sketch, etc? This looks like a social media app in Japan.

As the title suggests, I love the idea for this app. It’s great. But it’s just really glitchy, and too difficult to manage sometimes. I wish I could give it those 2 other stars, but it’s so glitchy! Apart from the glitches, I like all the ideas and features. Again, I only wish they were more manageable. Better than other’s I’ve tried...
I am doing this to get the free upgrade. That said...So far this is the app I like the best of the ones I have tried. Some I have even paid for. Love the outline/map view. Extremely helpful. I also like the character cards, however The cards could use a little more polishing and be more user friendly and the app does suffer some glitches in general. I have had to quit it and relaunch so I can see additions or changes some times. Which is why I gave it 3 and not 4 stars. I hope newer updates will fix the glitches and improve what is already a very decent and promising product. If I may suggest

In the past I’ve struggled to organize my work flow, but it always wound up being a mess. Notes are one app, outlines in another, drafts in another app... It’s a quagmire. Then comes Everywriter. The grammar of the whole app is horrible and hard to understand. It would really help if the company could get a native English speaker to write examples and walkthroughs. “Can I touch you chest?” is a horrible title and is wrong grammatically and morally in so many ways. Saved the work I did, but it signed me out randomly and didn't let me sign back in. I type in my information(which is correct), and nothing comes up. Not even an error message. This app was awesome to start with, and maybe once a new version comes out they'll fix this, but in the mean time I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with it.

I love the mapping feature of every writer. I am writing this to get the free upgrade for it. Having my chapters displayed helps me organize my thoughts and plot. The translations to English are choppy but not hard to understand. It also freezes up quite a bit. Otherwise I love this app! It's a great on-the-go tool for my iPad.
