One of my Top-5 Apps
The features in BusyCal are amazing. Apple tends to “appropriate” many developers’ features… for some Godforsaken reason, Apple went backward here (got rid of “Tasks”, initially released in iCal back in the Panther days. They (Apple) took away this functionality, almost as soon as they released it in a subsequent version (Tiger, i think), and BusyCal has been providing it since. Sadly, Apple keeps restricting their API… or this app would be even MORE functional. Excellent job over there as BusyCal . The ONE thing i wish they would do is update there website (particularly the user-guide) to ref

Really clean and useful calendar app
Really clean and lovely app. I tried a lot of different calendar apps because I’m very picky with widgets, and this app was the one that mostly gave me what I wanted and didn’t lock basic features like travel time behind price gouging subscriptions or scrape every bit of information the app could get out of me. Love how this is a one time payment, as well! The one thing I would like to request though that would make this app 5 stars for me: an “agenda” widget that also has the heat map. In short, I would LOVE if the “Events List” Widget also showed the events that are happening tomorrow and

Great product but...
The product is great except it doesn't sync between Apple devices automatically. One needs to sync the device where a reminder has been modified (added or modified) and then sync the other device so they are both in sync. I have a Mac, an iPad and an iPhone and the synchronisation is a nightmare. Unless I am missing something in the settings, using BusyCal brings more issues than solutions. This sync issue should be addressed and sorted out for this product to keep its attractiveness.

The Best Calendar App
BusyCal is easily the best calendar app on the market. It's constantly being updated, it can be highly customized via its settings for your liking, the developer is extremely responsive, the widgets are clean and interactive, tons of integrations... If you haven't given it a shot and you're reading this right now then download it and take it for a spin. 🤙

Excellent tasks and events tracking
Great combining events and todos, both scheduled and unscheduled. Easy to see as much as you want, easy to move, change, group, and prioritize. Much better than using both Calendar and Reminders, though all can still be used.

An impressive business
I love the app and recommend it every chance I get. But it is how the developers have treated me as a customer that has really impressed me. BusyCal is constantly improving. I have had two technical glitches. I emailed the BusyCal helpdesk and I got a personalized helpful response every time. Honestly, I hope this company makes more apps because they deserve as much business as they can get.

Great looking but poor functionality
Every other calendar app makes it simple to connect and display apple calendar and tasks. Except busycal. It shows that my calendar is connected yet doesn’t show my tasks meanwhile everything is set up in settings

Perfect for power users. Accessible for everyone.
BusyCal is at the core of my day to day. After a few years I now use all of its features and tools. One of my favorites is the journal entry feature. I enter logs throughout the day. At the end of the week I have a custom view set of all my entries making reviews meaningful and easy. BusyCal is frictionless. Sync with Reminders is flawless. Connecting accounts is straightforward. I love the iOS widgets and MacOS Finder drop down menu. Thank you for an awesome product that makes work-life balance easier.

It is way more than a calendar
My spouse has Parkinson’s. It is imperative that all meetings, outings & every other occurrences on both of our iPhones, iPads & MacBooks sync perfectly. We have been using the ‘Busy’ software since the beginning. Not only is the software stable, the people who run it are always there for support in a calm and friendly manner even when the answer is not what I had hoped for. Though it can be accessed by & from the three hardware devices I find it best to choose one MacBook as central station using the others for reference & to make quick changes on the fly. The other use for the non-central de

BusyCal makes managing your life FUN!
You will love how BusyCal enables you to have both Events and tasks (Apple ‘Reminders’) in the same app and especially to have notifications with many choices of how you snooze the notification and of course this is all linked to your BusyCal on your Mac. I really cannot imagine a Mac or iPhone without BusyCal! From quick tasks to long-term vacation planning events years in the future or looking back 15 years to see what I did on a certain date… keeping track of which events or tasks have been accomplished and which still need doing… with priorities & color coding… You can use these features

It does it.
I have been using BusyCal for sometime now. I find it to be the ideal solution. I think what I like the most is that it doesn’t matter what feature you are looking for it does it. I sometimes find myself thinking “I wish the calendar looked this way.” or “I wish I could do this.”only to go into the app Settings and find the exact feature I want.

Best Calendar app
I love BusyCal. I use it on all my Apple devices to schedule my entire life. I LOVE that it’s a flat one-time cost rather than a subscription. The Mac and Apple Watch versions of BusyCal are great too. Keep up the amazing work.

Worth the 1-time $10.
In a world of subscriptions and ads, this app stands out. I genuinely love every part of this and the fact I’ve only had to pay once is what makes it all just perfect. I wish it had a Linux app but that’s not exactly a reasonable request. Only thing I’d request is nested task support.

The best calendar app available
Syncs my many calendars with no issues. Also has great features and several integrations. Definitely worth the one time fee!

The Best - really useful
There are so many great features about this calendar app that the built-in iOS calendar is sorely lacking. It's just so much more quality, so much more features. After using BusyCal, I'll never go back.

Best calendar app out there
I’ve been using BusyCal for a while now. There have been bugs (in the past) but the developer has squished every bug I have sent them. And what more can I ask than that? If there is a more beautifully designed calendar app, I haven’t seen it. The integrations are great and the BusyCal widgets are best in class. If you rely on your calendar like I do on your iPhone, this app is a no brainer.

Best calendar I’ve ever used
Hands down, this is the best calendar I’ve ever used. It’s packed with features yet remains incredibly simple and intuitive. Everything is super clear — I’ve never felt this organized in my life. I’ve been searching for a calendar like this for a long time. It automates all the little annoyances that exist in every other calendar. Adding times to appointments, dropping in quick links to Zoom or Google Meet — it all feels effortless. The multiple calendar views are fantastic, too. Honestly, it’s just the best. I think it’s around five bucks a month, but whatever it costs, it’s totally worth

Funky New Features
All kinds of fussy stuff going on in recent updates. Can’t accept invites and change calendars on appointments. Change All Day to timed events and try to invite, and the original and the new event erase themselves. Don’t like running into new things I can’t do!

Collapsed!
This has been my go to calendar app for years and in the past few days, it seems to have imploded. There is no info about how on Monday, it only crashed, yesterday it wouldn’t keep any of my settings, and today it’s totally glitched out. I am super frustrated. And yet, each of these days, there has been an update to download without any mention of problems they are fixing.

BusyCal iOS fails to launch after iOS update
This is a bug report rather than a review. After update to iOS 15.6, BusyCal fails to start up after launch. Tried force-quitting app, deleted and redownloaded, no change. Cannot upload app logs. Please fix ASAP.

Have you heard the good news about BusyCal?
This is simply the best calendar app, from one of the best iOS/macOS software companies. They don't pay me to say this. And if they charged 10x as much, it'd still be a bargain. 1. The app works. No matter how many calendars you have, from however many accounts, it just works. 2. There's a ton of features. If you need it, it can probably do it. 3. There's features all stay out of your way. If you don't need something, you'll probably never notice it. Beyond that, it's a calendar app, it works like a calendar. But it doesn't break and freak out all the time like literally every single other

After 24 Hours
I've only been using BusyCal for a day. After 5+ years using an iPhone, it's the first Calendar App I've tried other than the default iPhone Calendar App. But I finally got tired of all the minor but bothersome problems and decided to check an alternative. And I'm already blown away with BusyCal! Just that quickly, I've fallen in love. Even in a brief 24 hours, I'm wondering how I ever got along without it! I look forward to seeing even more great changes for the better.

Almost perfect
BusyCal is one of the best calendar apps I’ve used—clean layout, great customization, and powerful features for managing a busy schedule. Syncing is seamless, and I love how flexible it is compared to other apps. A couple of small things keep it from being a full five stars: I wish I could swipe between months instead of scrolling—feels like a more natural gesture. Also, for events that aren’t all-day, it would be great if they showed up as solid color blocks instead of just outlined. That would make it easier to scan my day at a glance.

Support todoist better than official app
Ever since todoist took their 2-way google cal sync away, I’ve been seeking for alternatives for a long time. Ironically, BusyCal does a much better job with todoist free tier as it allows me to drag the task around on the calendar along with my other Google cal view (which is subscription walled by todoist). If BusyCal will support ticktick I would be so happy!

Solid
Does almost everything I need. Reliable. Flexible. Works great with the macOS counterpart. Compared to Fantastical it has less friction in daily use. The licensing for desktop+mobile is more fair too imo. I would say aesthetics is the only area where it doesn’t quite compare. Compared to the default Calendar it is certainly an upgrade. I don’t have a crazy complex schedule nor do I use many of the advanced features. The ones I do use though make it very worth it.

Long load times
I’ve used this app for at least a couple of years. It does a great job integrating various calendars into a single visual display. My only issue is that the loading time is very long. It takes almost 20 seconds before the calendar information is on the display.

All in all, great updates but not perfect.
Two things I look for in my calendar app are still unchanged. 1) A better week view. Several competitors offer a weak view that have the days as “daily squares” that show the information much better than relying on the current week view which sizes itself into oblivion and unneeded truncated information. I hope some day that this will be offered here as well, but it’s been made pretty clear by the developer that he will not budge on this, though I can’t imagine why. 2) Still no templates. I hate to give up on this app. But, it looks like an app that will not reach its full potential.
