Amazing!
I’ve had this app for a long time and it only gets better. Just the other night, i Lightning Cam 2 caught some amazing lightning pics from a storm. I set it up at the window and walk away. What I got was awesome. The improvements to this app make it easy when it’s on ‘auto’. If you can’t get good photos then it’s not the app. I love this app!! I live in a state with frequent summer storms. A+ to the developer. Thanks!

This app was once amazing, not so much. I have had some awesome lightning pics using this app, but not anymore. Last night I seen some amazing streaks of lightning across the sky and all of my photos were just big white blobs. Please make this the greatest app, again!!!

This is far and away, without any doubt the greatest app ever. I have gotten so many great photos of lightning bolts. Many of my photos are so awesome and amazing, and I have several that are just mind blowing. I have been using this app for a while now and it has been very helpful for catching lightning strikes! One main issue is that if i put it on auto, it catches the street lights instead of lightning sometimes. Other than that, it’s a great app and I would recommend this app to anyone!

Good at first ... issues now.
I’ve gotten some great lightning pics with this app but it is very glitchy and getting worse. Often I have to delete it, reinstall and restart my phone for it to work. I’ll have a lighting strike clearly within the frame and the app will take 4 pics but capture zippo. Or it will have a weird pink light but no lightning strike which I clearly saw. Again, I’ve gotten some really amazing pics but in 2020 it’s mostly has malfunctioned. Just sat through a major cell with lots of strikes and lots of pics taken and zero lightning.

How do I tag the app in social media?
I love this app! I have an iPhone 11 Pro and it works great. This app has worked great for years, since my iPhone 6s. Wish I could support it further by knowing what to tag my photos on social media to bring awareness. SUCH A GOOD APP! I’ve gotten SICK photos with it!

Great for lightning...not so for fireworks
I use this all the time for lightning photos and minus the rolling shutter which they cannot control, it gets great lightning photos. Can also work for fireworks but getting the settings correct is harder as it triggers on the flash of the payload detonating but it is set to take pictures in quick succession for lightning flashes, but fireworks are slower. The old lightning cam was better at that. Needs an adjustment for the longer time a firework lasts to get more shots of it...maybe instead of 2-4 as fast as possible do 4-8 with quarter to half second intervals.

Afternoon storm. iPhone 7 on tripod . Multiple bright streaks. Just got a couple of shots with bright band across the screen. Very disappointed. Was really looking forward to getting good photos. Glad I only paid 2 bucks.

Fantastic App
I used it for the first time at my window and it got three great lightning strikes. I put the phone on a tripod and went out to do my usual lightning videos a few blocks away and came home to find the three pictures. This will enable me to always get lightning pictures when I’m not at home. I highly recommend it!

Does what I could never do but still....
Look I love that this app captures what I never could. I only have one COMPLAINT: why do my pics have a dark gray band across the top????? All captures have it and it ruins what would otherwise be a pristine shot...🤔😕 Fix that or tell me how to and I will change my rating to 5 stars....I am using it on iPhone 6s Plus and it continuously has the gray banding😕😕😕😕😕😕😕
