i've been playing best fiends for years, i'm on level 5090 and genuinely love the game. HOWEVER, it has a frustrating habit of giving a power-up for an extremely short amount of time (like "1 minute" that's actually 52 seconds to start) then making you sit through unskippable pop-ups until the time runs out. if the power up is for 3 minutes, the time will automatically decrease by almost 10 seconds as soon as it applies, and then you'll be hit with more pop-ups or cut-scenes or other things that take up the majority of that power-ups time before you can use it. the levels can already take week
