Came back here after trying out Procreate Dreams and while Dreams is a much more bigger program with a better painting engine, I prefer a lot of how RoughAnimator handles things, and also the much smaller file sizes. Very geared towards hand-drawn animation. Has a good timeline UI that is very easy to use and flexible. It is missing features of some heavier programs like the ability to keyframe moving of drawn objects, but also has some features a lot of them don’t have, like being able to easily draw on multiple frames at once, merge timeline tracks, and automatically loop a short section o

Unable to target offscreen bosses with certain targeting spells which makes spell-casting builds significantly weaker in this version.
