every upgrade lets you travel exactly a bit further, fuel is an illusion, it consumes itself even when you dont accelerate, you are basically foerced every level to press the acceleration, watch the game play itself, make upgrade, get a little further, over and over again, nothing changes, no new upgrades, cars arent faster or better they just look different
