Have made the twitch experience much less enjoyable. Seems like everyday there’s a need to back out and let an update run, which would be ok if the updates improved the connection drops. But maybe that’s what they’re for. As part of my musical noodling, with the iPadOS version, the MACOS v, and an MPC ONE to round them out. Unfortunately it’s buggy. Right now there’s an issue on iPhone where adding a track makes the orientation flip so that there’s no way to choose from a drum program, audio unit, or live recording. It defaults to program. Usually pretty good at fixing such bugs.

Depending on your background, your abilities, and your intention this app could work very well for you or it could be a non starter. I have tried to incorporate it in many different ways in my setup, but I always seem to find that I can achieve the bulk of what it can do with apps I already have, which is weird since those apps are not necessarily dedicated looping apps. my immediate take on this app is that it doesn't do anything new and it's just the same kind of editing and painting available in other apps I already have. and these other apps do it a little better imo. give yourself awhile to get used to the UI, cause it's not very intuitive - at least it's not unless you're thinking in terms Apple Pages as a painting app, then I guess it's solid. maybe if I spend more time with it I might find more unique characteristics that set it apart from the rest, or at least bring it side by side. but I'm not holding my breath. *this app made me think that the A
