I have the New York Times subscription for more than a year now: I believe you can invest hours in reading the NYT or listening to its podcasts and you’ll always find something interesting, enriching and entertaining. My two favourite features are the Morning Brief (it gives you a summary of the main news from the day before plus some interesting society/profile piece) and the automated voice that reads articles (so handy!). I’m not an English native speaker and I live in Italy and I find it very useful.
