I’ve been using Tubi for years. Always loved the selection, and the ads were never a big issue….until the last year or two. Previously, a movie used to have maybe 1-2 ad breaks that only had maybe 1-3 ads during each break (30 seconds in total at the most). Now I can try and watch a 30 minute tv show and there will be 3-4 ad breaks with 6-7 ads in each single ad break! I tried to watch a movie the other day and had to stop it and go to a different streaming service because I was getting 6-7 ads during an ad break, and the ad breaks were every 10-15 minutes!
